Finally, after 3 months of ownership I got a break in the weather to tackle the bodywork - washed, Clay-barred, Polished, Waxed & Detailer.... polished the glass & Alloys also. Pictures don't do the Candy White justice, it's a lot nicer in the flesh as it always looks creamy through a lens.

What colour was in the Corsa??? ;-)

Was 12 hours away from signing on the dotted line for a Passat last March (Highline, estate with a €5,200 worth of extras (LED lights, leather, 18" Alloys, Sat Nav etc) but got an email from my Skoda dealer with a shot of the Superbs headlights ahead of its official unveiling........ told the VW dealer thanks but no thanks- Superb won hands down! & most of those options were standard in the Superb!! Although I prefer the Passats Cabin. I like the surround vents & clock, but that's just me..... Anyway, i'm delighted with the Superb although i too want full LED lights

Was talking to a mate of mine who's an Audi mechanic last night, not impressed with the quality of the new A4. Numerous problems with them & they have 1 which the engine packed up after 30km!! A little buzzing noise doesn't seem all the bad now does it?? ;-)

Ditto, couldn't get it to work. Got everything else paired up but not that.

I would also make them sweat & ask to speak to someone high up. That is a terrible way to do business. You except delays, & a few screw ups but there is no excuse for not keeping you updated & an apology. They probably have a Facebook page that you can leave feedback & rate them on their website so I would be reminding them of that also. It infuriates me when companies don't call back when they say they wil...

I've my car 2 months now & my 2 girls (5 & 6 year olds) are in the car nearly every day, including a few long trips. Beige Leather & interior is still immaculate. It pays to put a good leather protector on it from day one, then I just give them a wipe every now & then with leather wipes. The hardest place to keep clean are down by the door sills, my 2 stand on this getting in & out of the car. i would have prefered if they were black instead of beige

I think we are coming full circle again with some of the premiums people are being quoted lately ....

Yeah I have used it a few times but for it to work properly the engine needs to be at optimum temperature so if the car wasn't driven on a long trip the heat expires straight away.

Wow! That would have been some machine, unfortunately my insurance company would have hung up on me if I asked them to cover me on one of them as I was in my early twenties then (:-( My first insurance premium was £IR 3,500 for 3rd party fire & theft on a 1.0l Polo a year & a half earlier!

I forgot about my Bora! 2002 1.4L Comfortline in Silver, had the softest seat material I've ever seen in a car, unlike the hard upholstery they put in cars these days. Great car but needed a bigger engine!

That's bulb manufacturers covering their backsides.... you'll be fine!

I think you were right originally with it being an L&K? The standard Alloys on the Style are 17" & you can upgrade to 18" or 19" In the L&K you can have either 18" or 19" with Anthracite ("Black") You can't get these on any other Trim including Style. Maybe check with your dealer again to see what you are ordering?

I tried the everything to get them aswell but they wouldn't budge, so settled on the standard Pegasus withe intention of getting them re-sprayed but when my car arrived I really liked the silver Pegasus. Obviously I would still have preferred the Anthracite ones but they are a gorgeous wheel & really suit the car. In DynamicT's case, if you hate your wheels then you should change them.

I Agree 100 %. I'd highly recommend them & there is 20 % off them at the moment (see L4wence's link )

The new one is like a 'film' on the screen hence the copper glint off it at certain angles

Er..that was embarrassing! Anyway fitted the new LED indicators, way brighter & way better :-)
