  3. Welcome along bud Sounds like you've got a nice motor! The other day SWMBO said "If you win the lottery, I'd like you to buy me another Octavia VRS, I loved that car" :D :D My response was, "Don't worry beautiful I'll buy you the Octavia RS6, you'll love that one" :D :D She knew it wasn't a Skoda I was talking about :D Enjoy :)

  7. Hi bud I'm very interested in these, what's the best price posted on these? The paint finish on that one wheel is the annoying thing for me, and paying top dollar on a set of used wheels, I'd expect them to be "mint" condition. PM me if needed. (If that doesn't break this forum rules, as some forums don't like it and I'm a member on a fair few :D )
  8. I have one of these that I've not used, still in the packaging from when I purchased it back when I had my Octavia PM me if you want it Sorry to high jack this thread, and please delete if needs be
  9. From experience here is what I've done Bought the car replaced all tyres 3 weeks later - pothole ruined O/S/F tyre Replaced the one O/S/F tyre Just had a blow out on N/S/F tyre as its wear was poor on the inside. My new plan, replace both fronts Keep O/S/F tyre for when another goes They should wear the same this way :) To sum it up.. for what it's worth, replace both Not sure what size tyres you need, but I've just bought 2x 225/40/18 Uniroyal Rainsport 3's for £57 each from ears.co.uk
  10. Mine has gone on the fronts...although I shall be checking the rears again now you've said that
  11. Hi guys In August I purchased my Superb and I fitted 4 Uniroyal Rainsport 3's in September. (Rears had perished and fronts were borderline legal) I check my tyres quite frequently as I am a taxi driver and they are the 4 things keeping me stuck to the road, plus I like to monitor the wear. I've been happy with how the tyres have worn, in terms of length of time on the car and mileage, but I've got one rather huge concern! The inside edge has worn rather badly and on Saturday night, with customer on board I got a flat. On further inspection, the cords were showing. I had been warned by another driver about this, so I was monitoring the insides in terms of wear, but it's just happened so fast. I can only blame myself as I'd checked my tyre pressures only 30 minutes before and hadn't checked the condition as I was due to take the wheels off for winter protection. My concern is, once fitted does my car need a full Geometry setup or just tracking. AND what pressures do you guys run?
  12. Potentially interested in the full set if they're still available. (I know I'm a bit late to the thread) I've just got to check my Octavia VRS fronts... I think they may fit... please let me know if you know otherwise.
  13. Where in the country are you? Or is this a posted price?
  14. What's the postage cost? I'm interested
  15. Will take this pooch! Will pay over the next few days bud as its pay day weekend If that's all right bud send me your PayPal details
  16. Cool so I shall only remove the Xenon's as DRL's as they are on permanently and I don't like it
  17. I was offered £9,400 for my Mk2 Octavia VRS and I traded it at £10,500 and its up for £12,500
  18. Also with the Mazda, play around with all the gadgets... I find them an absolute ball ache to use, especially the Nav system. If it's got Nav you'll know straight away what I mean when you enter the postcode! They aren't great systems to be honest and I'm not really a fan, however it is a nice comfy place to be and the engines are good. Another thing with the Mazda is that if you get a crack to the screen, you have to wait weeks for the refit as the car has to go to the dealer to have its Rain sense and accident equipment reset! It's an utter ache! I've driven hundreds of different cars over the last year as I was so working with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and I have to say they were a good car, but if I had the choice... Well I think my current car speaks for itself :D
  19. Now thata a thought I didn't have! These forums are awesome and that's Great thought! Well there is always a next time Thanks you bud I appreciate it
