An SE L or L&K (it was dark) followed us while driving through Newport Pagnell towards MK on Friday evening. Must apologise to the driver as my driving companion thought you were driving a tad too close and brake tested you a couple of times. I didn't think you were that close TBH.

Is it switched with the ignition or perm live? Same question for the dash 12v socket...

Which Philips LED bulbs are you using for the indicators and front fog lamps? Yellow fogs with white xenons just looks wrong so this is something I want to 'fix' when I take delivery.

Not naming and shaming, but since the initial order I've had NOTHING in the way of communication. I did email this week though to enquire about my car, knowing full well that it was in the UK after calling SUK. SUK on the other hand have been great, just a short call every couple of weeks from me, with the SLI number, and I was fully up-to date on the build.

My manual C Class has this to disengage the cruise control.

What happens if you have a manual box with ACC and approaching standing traffic?

Financially I can't have the car before mid March so it works out ok. Would have been nice to drive away at midnight on the 1st though.

My car is in the UK now. Dealer quoting 10-15 days till it arrives at dealership, ready for delivery weekend before Easter (hopefully). SE L Estate 150 TDi ordered on 29th Nov with a few options. Can't wait!!!

No worries. Mine is a lease deal as well, price too good to pass up. Actually called SUK yesterday to be told that mine is getting loaded on the boat on Saturday. I don't want mine till March either. My current car doesn't go back till then, but more importantly I WANT a 16 plate ;-)

I cut the dealer out of the equation when I wasn't getting any updates. Call Skoda UK directly with your SLI number (If you don't have this get it from your dealer), and you can get updates from them. Since ordering in November the dealer hasn't contacted me once, but thanks to Skoda UK I know that my car is built and is waiting to board the boat from Emden. This is something that I will be feeding back to the dealer on collection

I'm hoping my Thule 757 clamps will fit to the rails on the estate. Think my current aerobars might just fit.

Silver SE Estate spotted in Hatfield Tesco carpark about 3 weeks ago. Not seen another since.

My car is now in transit to the port!! Usual 4-6 weeks till it hits the dealer, spot on for mid-March delivery. Must say though, since ordering, the dealer hasn't contacted me ONCE, this is despite sending a couple of emails to the salesman... I will be feeding that back on collection.
