  2. Cruise Control is disabled due huge diameter difference, but that is only my guess, after replace tire on my 16" disc i haven't had to use it
  3. Tryout Waze, none of built-in navigation system nier to an online system
  4. BMW isn't worse case, tryout Audi A6. All new Volkswagen Auto Group's models lose physical buttons :( also not so happy about loss of DSG gear stick, what means, vote goes to Superb
  5. why everyone focusing on inches of disk? while more important is what size of tire is mounted on it. 16" can be used even on 280/272, which have bigger brakes, just install spare wheel on the right place - rear axle yes, double procedure if damaged front, but it's lot safer to leave normal tire on the front axle
  6. depends on where problem has come, i weren't happy keep 80kmh manually for ~80km distance on highway another must have is DIRECT Tire Pressure Monitoring System -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/434028-tire-pressure-monitoring-system/?tab=comments#comment-4893182
  7. just few posts above i posted size comparison, with that huge (-5.3%) diameter diff car will not able activation of Cruise Control visit https://tiresize.com/comparison/
  8. Me too have used to stock 205/55r16 spare wheel just for ~80km, mounted on two line higway ~20 min PM And as i wrote above, that ~80km without Cruise Control were enough big motivation to replace rubber by 205/65r16 I don't think there will be a lot alternative tire sizes for 18" disk
  9. What benefit has 18"?
  10. @Rednut looks like Mib2 High, but i can be wrong. another guess, not all regions have got enabled life time updates, like Audi and Seat owners can upload updates just first few years https://www.seatcupra.net/forums/resources/updating-the-inbuilt-mib2-satnav-mib2-tricks-and-lost-mib1-card-solution.60/ https://www.seatcupra.net/forums/threads/ready-reckoner-on-the-limits-of-mib2-high-plus-updates-can-be-made.457561/ p.s. try copy files from SD card back to PC and compare content, there are couple of cases when fake SD cards are declared as big size while they are lot smaller
  11. size of disk is less important than size of tire 16" can be installed even on 280/272 version, just install it on correct place - rear axle stock size of spare wheel's rubber is lot smaller than normal tire and that disables usage of cruise control
  12. compared to Amundsen? asking cause 2016 8" Columbus has that option + subwoofer level thinking about new, but can't accept new 10" Columbus hasn't real volume lever interesting, what i will lose on swap 2016 8" Columbus to 2021 8" Amundsen . . . Canton is must have
  13. then you need files from Amundsen (VW's Discover Media 2) -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/486988-amundsen-mib2-map-updates-2021/ and these will work only from original SD card 26GB file is for Columbus (VW's Discover Media Pro) which can be uploaded into Columbus from any SD Card or USB flash
  14. show maps version info for Mib2H can be used even USB flash
  15. @batemansxxxb try links from Columbus tread
  16. Absolutely, even for same model, Superb III in my case, Eibach offers different springs for different weights. In case i don't like lowering, but would like to have stiffer springs, i going to install springs from 2.0 TSI AWD on mine 2.0 TSI FWD car, just one problem, i have managed to find right number for rear axle F11-15-007-04-HA (-45mm on AWD; -30mm on FWD) F11-79-008-01-HA (-30mm on AWD; -5mm on FWD) but which for front axle? F11-85-043-01-FA or F11-85-043-02-FA this guess has been made from these datasheets -> Tuv certificate F11-85-042-03-FA -> Tuv certificate F11-85-043-02-FA compare by size compare by weight
  17. please share Your opinion and part codes
  18. search for DCC cancellation kit or install cheaper with better performance -> Bilstein B6 DampTronic
  19. ^^^ @KeteCantek oh sorry, my English is far from perfect and Google Translate doesn't help in all cases in one of posts above i made guess, new 280ps can be old DSG6, but You answered it's a 7
  20. just two problems 1. waiting time 6+ months 2. for 280ps no discounts possible, while all others can get 20%, as result huge lose in aftermarket - start price diff is 30k euros vs 49k :(
  21. in case i own Columbus Mib2H, nothing of following have been tested, just some info: 1. there are SD cards which's ID can be changed, don't ask details 2. there are modified firmwares where are accepted side SD cards read with Google Translate -> RNS 310 -> RNS 510
  22. few times a year i have false TPMS warnings reported by car, but now no need to guess where is problem, after have installed Direct TPMS and there is info how does pressure is changing according conditions change
