I think the MIB3 is later facelifts, after the iV was released, this one should be the MIB2.5.

I think it does have the MIB3 so I should be able to sort factory wireless CarPlay if it compatible and it doesn’t already have it. It’s got 2 years of warranty on it though so it’s Skoda’s problem if it breaks haha It’s a 190 TDi, SL+ with Supernova’s, rear cam and VC. I’m inclined to agree; I really wanted a facelift haha Beats me, can’t wait to see it properly, the colour is epic!

First thing that’s going is the chrome badges on the back, need to be black. Hopefully SuperSkoda have a sale over the April BH weekend so I don’t have to wait long for new badges. Thanks. It’s deffo the colour to have.

New car round 2!! Finance accepted and deposit paid on this one from Marshall’s. I am much happier with the incredibly thorough service from Marshall’s, have been through all the history, had a video sent to me, no pressure throughout and they’ve cut me a deal I’m really happy with on it. Collection on this one will be 3 weeks today as I need to wait for the Octy to go first as it is a bit more than the other one but it’s a facelift with some options which is what I really wanted. Let’s hope this one is better 😍 Will start a fresh thread when it arrives, keeps things separate 😊

The bits you sit on are leather, the rest is vinyl. The leather is lacquered so you don’t want to be using leather feed or anything that is absorbed by the leather anyway as it won’t be, it’ll just sit on the lacquer.

All SportLine Plus spec cars come with personalisation so should have 3 if my info is correct, only the pre 2017 cars have 2. In any case this car only had one which is simply unacceptable. I’m having a cup of tea to calm down now and then I have some phone calls to make.

They should all come with 3 keys even now. I would prefer an FL but they are just out of the budget a bit but I’ll be calling about a few later and some non Skoda’s when I’m home and calmed down.

It wasn’t even cheap though! It was a good price but not too good so that makes it worse. If they’d have been amenable to a discount we could have done something as DG is such a rare colour but they weren’t so I didn’t even take the keys, once I asked him if it had all 3 and he said it only had 1, I just walked.

Well that was total waste of time. Arrived this morning to collect the car to be greeted with a Dragon Green turd, shocking repairs on both bumpers, cheap worn out tyres and only one key. FoW were in no way interesting in sorting out more keys so I have left without it. I’m absolutely livid!

Yeah kinda, I use my weight to push the base back towards the seat back and that will give you the room to unhook it. Slide the front seat to a point where you have some grip and it works well for removal and installation.

I find it’s easier to stand in the footwell and lean a knee into the base and pull so it unhooks. It’s a deep hook but if I can do it, anyone can

That silver L&K is a bit overpriced IMO, a lot of them are compared to how they were at the end of last year. I’m not ready for an L&K, spec is awesome but the SportLine look is the one for me. My budget is a strict £350 a month with no deposit on a 4 year PCP so it probably won’t stretch to a £26k car.

I am but it’s hopefully sorted and I have other cars in the queue. I’ve seen that L&K but I’m not a fan of white cars unfortunately. I’d like to stick to the £20k budget as well if at all possible

Yes CP removal is required for any MIB swap but you can get units posted to you CP free.

Thanks for the info, it’s a RWD one so a bit less drama there. I did like my previous MB but it did do all the Mercedes things well, like break down 😂

That one has been for sale for nearly a year as it was offered unregistered and it started off at £44,000 and it’s now about £34,000. As nice as it is it’s still too much money and I hear from folk who have enquired about it that the supplying dealer don’t seem interested in selling it as the sales manager seems to like it for himself. I want fazed by it being from a car supermarket, traditionally most of my cars have come from such establishments and part of the reason for that is not having to wait. Maybe I’m too impatient but it’s not even the wait time that has riled me, the combination of circumstances has led to my annoyance but it’ll all be over soon now I have a firm date in the diary to see the car in person.

That’s one on the list as well as the Meteor one they have at the other site and I’ve got an E Class and a 5 Series on the list too. If they’d have got the basics right I would have been the easiest buyer ever as I’ll be taking the car to Skoda for another fluid change as soon as I can for the digital stamp and to ensure I’m safeguarded as I don’t trust them to have done it but I’m just so frustrated by the whole thing at this point. Hopefully I’ll feel differently about it tomorrow when I’ve slept and had time to calm down.
