se headlights bulb upgrade
That kind of budget there are plenty of SE-L and even the odd L&K to pick from, it’s a lot of money to spend and the lights are a real step up IMO, a facelift SE with LED (non matrix) isn’t much more at the moment and the LED’s are better still.

It is possible to put the Xenon’s in, but you’ll need to buy the lights, headlight range controller, wiring adapters, wiring for the headlight range controller, 2x level sensors plus wiring and the washer system plus wiring and tubing and a good amount of coding so in a word you are better off going for some brighter, whiter, but still road legal bulbs for the light units you have.

Buying Guide for 2.0 TDi Superb?
The rear disc issue is one of two things; 1) there is a lip around the edge of the disc that isn’t part of the braking surface, this can rust, it’s common on most VAG cars. 2) the ACC uses the rear brakes a bit more than the front most of the time so if you use ACC a lot you will go through rear discs quicker than you might expect. Worth keeping an eye on for sure.

Buying Guide for 2.0 TDi Superb?
The 150 doesn’t feel short changed compared to the 190 in most scenarios so I wouldn’t worry about having a 150 if a 190 isn’t available. There can be some suspension clunks from the front which can be the top mounts but it’s not terribly widespread. I wouldn’t say my car has any noticeable throttle lag but you can code around that or use a DTUK pedal box to eliminate it.

Electric tailgate problem
Superb ones are much more common than the Octy ones and it’s such a handy feature IMO. Hope they work for you

Electric tailgate problem
They are plentiful on eBay for under £200 per strut. It’s far nicer to have the power tailgate IMO, would cost you over £200 to swap back to manual struts if you had to buy struts, ball joints, a boot lock and a coding tool just for this job. I had one go on my Octy and it was a faulty hall sensor so I took the signal from the good hall sensor on the other side and repinned the connection. Free fix

25 mm Spacers on 19’ wheels
133k on that car when sold, 21k with that spacer setup and even more with just 15mm on the back, 2x track days, a lot of B road blasting and it still had all original wheel bearings on it with no signs of wearing out when sold...

New Superb 4x4 - factory software problem?
Skoda’s brochures are littered with errors, I hate to say. The Scout model will surely have it but unless things have changed for 2021 (or you are somewhere that’s not the UK) I have never seen another 4x4 Superb with HDC and Off Road mode.

2020 FL Superb rear camera retrofitted
I didn’t as it’s really hard to see, I made a tool to help me fit them.

2020 FL Superb rear camera retrofitted
I fitted the camera. For someone else PM me if you are interested in a price list. This isn’t my car, it’s a clients car. I’m based in North Wales for your reference.

25 mm Spacers on 19’ wheels
Thanks, had 20mm on the front and 25mm on the back plus 40mm H&R lowering springs but I only went 20 on the front for the brakes.

New Superb 4x4 - factory software problem?
They have auto hill hold and ACC, but low speed HDC is reserved for the Scout and SUV models.

25 mm Spacers on 19’ wheels
I used 25’s on the rear of my PFL Estate, lowered, and it was about as far as you would want out and it worked flawlessly.

New Superb 4x4 - factory software problem?
As a rule you don’t get off road mode on a 4x4, only the Superb Scout which we don’t get in the UK would have this and 4x4 Karoq and Kodiaq cars. I’ve never seen a normal Superb 4x4 with Off Road or HDC.

An OEM pad and holder. Skoda offered it as an option on the Superb where VW didn’t on the Passat. I’ve vowed to spend no more money on the car until pay day but I’m really struggling lol 😂

Audi S3 Coding
As above. It’s a lot of hassle. It’s possible but if the car is new or fairly new I would strongly advise paying for it if you want it. It’s not worth the risk of the cost spiralling on a high value car. It’s ok for a bit of fun if you can DIY but if paying for it it’s expensive. You might have a radar that you can have the FeC’s changed on and the right ABS pump but you might not.

This reminds me I need to buy a new charge pad and trim for my Superb! They are easy enough to fit though so will only be an hour or so when it arrives

Sasha’s Superb SportLine Plus Facelift
Thanks! That’s a shame, I might be sent home soon but even if I am I’m still glad I have the car. It’s a massive indulgence but to our bitter cost as a family we learned that tomorrow isn’t a promise a week before Christmas and thus I wasn’t going to miss another one and even if I just stare at it and know the keys are in my hall that’ll do me. The car is like new all over, in person it’s perfect, there literally isn’t a mark on it anywhere, inside or out. I suspect the prep for that review wasn’t as well done as it could have been as Marshall’s presented the car to me exactly as a new car should be presented, never mind a year old one. It’s much better than the Octy! The Diesel engine is still a bit gruff when it’s working but starting up and at idle it’s much more refined. I know from fitting cameras to these cars how much more sound deadening is in them vs the Octy and its a huge improvement.
