  1. I had this on my old spare key, had it re programmed to the car by my mechanic and he also did another new key for me too (I purchased a new style key fob with the correct chip)
  2. Handy topic here https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/445067-superb-2-wheel-and-tyre-information/?tab=comments#comment-5003926
  3. You could have a nose through the parts http://www.oemepc.com/skoda/main_group/markt/CZ/modell/SUP/year/2011/hauptgruppen/1234567890/drive_standart/632/lang/e
  4. I'll echo that..... Rusty very kindly assisted me in diagnosing a faulty board after a remote guide of updating the software.
  5. You're welcome. If it's any consolation I had exactly the same two issues with my car and got the info from others on here!
  6. Congrats B they are well know for having issues with the shark fin aerial on the roof that supplies the gps signal. Replacement small puck aerial can be had for under £5 ish on ebay and are a doddle to fit. But, would be worth waiting for original stereo fix maybe, might be a missing or mixed up connector on the cheapy C when the surround around the stereo is removed, the cable for the light will cause your error if it is unplugged while power to the car (battery not disconnected). Simple fix for anyone with the tools, or a reader plugged in to diags port and Bluetooth to your phone. Then can use a free trial of carista to clear the fault code.
  7. My mechanic swapped mine out using the jack method
  8. Push the top left corner in, pull from the bottom right, it is very strong don't worry. (this is for drivers side, top left is top nearest the car window, so top right if passenger side)
  9. In years gone past, if you put car into reverse so the sensors are in use, you could put your ear up to them and tell which one was not clicking as it was working. That was normally the duff one
  10. No programming or coding to the car is needed
  11. Hello No idea if it's what you're looking for but I got one of these. For my mechanic who has full odis I think, he has coded it to the car no problem. https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32859971417.html?spm=a2g0n.orderlist-amp.item.32859971417&aff_trace_key=&aff_platform=msite&m_page_id=6203amp-B-twaG3ZCWkOHnMjIZQmdQ1597173132093&browser_id=16880eb15d16443a92edeae9a9fe9c57&is_c=Y Ps it's best to check your current key part number and find out the signal of the transmitter and the immobiliser chip inside to ensue you match them up correctly
  12. From the edge of the seat nearest the front of the car (NOT back) give it a pull upwards. It will only come up a couple inches, but will then pivot towards the front of the car allowing you to then lift the back (nearest the backrest) of the cushion so it fully lifts and pivots flat against the back of the front seats
  13. I've just installed the v17 maps I bought from an eBay seller named vagtech.diagnostics (I think I can name the seller without linking, if not, then apologies in advance)
