  1. Have you tried driving the car at all? I believe all these newer skodas have a soft limiter when parked and in neutral which is where your 3k rpm limit may come from
  2. To be fair, if it's only being used to jump start, I guess the only concern is will it or won't it..... and this one did just fine for me. For info, I used this a couple times and amazon had an offer on the next model up (GB40), which is actually rated for diesels, at the same price I paid for this base model, so I returned for free and traded up.
  3. I had this one and can confirm that it started my old superb 2.0 tdi with ease https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B015TKPT1A
  4. Definitely possible on the sportline that has led headlights to adjust them for driving on the other side, not sure about the adaptive / auto cruise
  5. I don't know how to take it apart, but just checking the obvious..... you have opened that cover and there's nothing inside the little storage / phone holder part?
  6. Hello and welcome on in
  7. Some of these may help although mostly fairly old. It seems to be methanol that's the problem I think. https://www.google.com/search?q=screenwash+for+polycarbonate+site:www.briskoda.net&client=ms-android-samsung-ss&prmd=sivn&sxsrf=AB5stBiKc8AsJMpuYCBTEYTgINJcur-RxA:1690908438209&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi7mLrm9LuAAxWIWkEAHXfIBW8QrQIoAnoECBEQAw&biw=384&bih=693&dpr=2.81
  8. Ps this was the exact point of my surprise that they used a 3rd party knowing they used non genuine parts. After reading comments of people having cameras not being coded and then being told they couldn't extend / take out the all in one cover while there was a fault code, it's sometimes of the dealers doing.
  9. Their big boss picked this up the other day and after he visited the dealer and speaking to the staff, he's apologised. In short he wasn't aware that one / some of his staff had lied to him about what and how the deal had been agreed and we've come to an agreement. I've missed some of the back n forth out but he had said he'd refer it to their legal team until finding out the truth. The short answer is i get to keep this camera and get some refund of money. Also the boss has offered to look after me if ever I'm in need of anything. The member of staff also resigned yesterday and apparently had a list of unhappy other customers. My V5 has also been processed without issue now someone else has been asked to deal with it. For info, I had been emailing and phoning, both with pretty much no responses until they escalated to their manager. Now got to decide if I can be bothered with the pain of finding someone else to put the oem camera in and mess with whatever has been fitted already.
  10. Getting the parts aren't a problem it seems and I'm fairly sure I have confirmed only high is used on the kodiaq too. There are some skoda dealers advertising this high part and that it needs coding / calibration etc. And a few other sellers that can provide the oem correct part. At the moment I'm waiting on the dealer advising what they will or won't do to rectify the issue. I've had to chase daily for a week so far and am being mostly ignored. Today I've also found out that they have not actually registered the v5 to me either. Sigh, losing faith in this dealer a little.
  11. Yes I have rear sensors and pdc, but this is no longer visible on the screen so you are relying just on the sounds, distance is hard to judge from just the video Yep seen lots of options for supposed oem fitting, but this was what this was meant to be from the skoda dealer lol. It was implied to me as if the dealer would supply the parts and this was just a fitting company. Anyway, I want full oem camera and display, else I could get this basic picture for peanuts from elsewhere.
  12. Well the installer that the dealer used has confirmed 3rd party parts were used and even confirmed it was a system listed for mib2 cars. I agreed with the dealer that I wanted oem / factory fitted parts as if it was on the car from the factory, obviously this is far from it at the moment so now waiting to see what they say next. To be honest, I'm a little surprised and disappointed that they even farm this work out to an installer that uses non genuine parts let alone doesn't even seem to know the differences in the cars platforms etc. Either way, at the moment I consider that picture worse than the pdc lines that at least give you a better indication of distance and which side of the bumper any obstruction is etc. Apparently cost the dealer £600 ish for this too and it looks no better than a 50 quid ali express generic camera. The picture is grainy with occasional interference also, probably better with a cheap wireless camera lol (all just guessing)
  13. Thanks for that Would I be right in saying the kodiaq should only have the highline version? (This seems to be suggested from my looking into the issue) Either way, I am presuming that the lines should be there along with the view options as per all other kodiaqs?
  14. Hi all As part of the deal of buying a 2021 kodiaq recently, the dealer agreed to retrofit a reverse camera of which has now been done and I believe is missing coding / calibration and maybe wrong part used. Can anyone that has had a camera retrofitted to an MIB3 kodiaq share a picture of their display please and confirm if they also have the washer jet on their camera? For info, this is all I have on my display and the camera seems to be missing the washer nozzle
  15. Tried searching both part numbers and just kodiaq and no results, also doesn't seem like anything listed for sale from that link I've ordered 2 from Deutscheparts for now, just under £20 delivered
  16. Confirmed part number that the dealer has fitted today is the superseded number I posted in my original post - 5Q0601361A Good news is that my investigations were correct, the bad news is that I can't find a UK supplier yet, but from Czech they are quite cheap, around 7 - 10 euro a corner. Dealer told me they are about £29 each on their system ( I wasn't paying so didn't pay much attention lol) I may get a couple of the older part number parts to keep in the car for now, no idea what the difference is but that's what is on the car now so should be fine. cheers all
  17. Forgot to say, yes it does tell individual pressures for the working wheels - direct rather than indirect tpms 👍
  18. It's the valve stem I am asking about because......... Thanks
  19. Thanks wokwon but that's the sensors and I'm after the valve part numbers. The dealer has now managed to find them in their system so have ordered and will fit, I'll see if I can get the part number from them when I collect the car, presuming they have ordered just the valve and not the entire sensor.
  20. Evening all I'm new to this section having just moved from a superb to a 2021 kodiaq sportline (before the facelift) 😀 I have direct TPMS on my car and need a service kit / replacement valve stem set for one of my wheels, can anyone help with the part number just in case please? In short, the dealer put new tyres on my car before I collected it (great) but unfortunately they and the fitter have no idea that direct tpms exists on these cars and they broke the valve stem. The car is with them at the moment for a camera retrofit I negotiated in the deal but they looked up parts and cannot find direct Tpms on their system and so are trying to say it's aftermarket and the previous owner must of fitted it so they can't find the parts. They're still looking into it so this may change, but as they are an hour round trip I'd rather just get a new stem kit (the actual sensor is fine) and have it fitted locally if needs be. Looking at some of the old online parts catalogues I think the part I want is 3AA998275A but also seen somewhere that suggests this was superseded by 5Q0601361A, but searching this part only seems to bring up other countries (mainly american) selling them, nothing uk based. Halfords offers a valve service kit for cheap, but...... I'd rather not use them if possible for now lol
  21. I had some from ebay that had resistors and they worked fine for years with just a couple blips of the car thinking one was out, there are some previous threads on here with details and options, including programming of led lights
  22. You're welcome, just hope it's the right answer and an easy resolution for you.
  23. The one touch is likely related and has the same reset procedure...... Presuming it is still the same as above
  24. I'm guessing they may all need to be re-synced Not sure the latest process but it used to simply be all windows fully down and continue to hold down for a couple seconds and then the same for up, holding up for a few seconds past closed. Don't use one touch up/ down, need to fully depress the buttons and keep hold holding
