Exactly. As long as you are happy with it thats all that matters. I use a stick on magnetic phone holder which is pretty good and holds the phone very securely. In the Karoq I use Waze on the main screen via android auto.

Looks ok with the Tom Tom in position but looks messy when it's not attached. I use Waze via my phone, never really got on with car in built systems....

Ok will keep an eye on it but 8k in all good so far. Famous last words.......

What's the issue with the petrol engine?

Every year i read about fools leaving their cars running on the drive only to find they get stolen, when will people ever learn.......

Is that all it does, If so Carista is probably better value. I've used it on our VW so would imagine it can be used on the Skoda.

100% happy with it. We've owned all sorts of cars from various marques, Ford, VW, Toyota, Range Rover, Mercedes to name a few and we think the Karoq is the best all round car we've ever owned. Would we buy another Skoda, yes! Get past the Skoda stigma and you'll find yourself in a good value well equipped car, sod the neighbours

You can also wiggle the steering wheel to kick the engine back into life, maybe better than tapping the accelerator.

Yes vent fully open and it's been pointed in various positions. Also, it steams up no matter who's driving. I'll keep an eye on it and if necessary a trip to the stealers will be in order.

Anyones car experiencing a drivers side door window steaming up, aircon is on all the time and no other windows are effected.

My mother is a big brand fan and when we bought our Skoda we knew it would be contraversial. However.......recently we had a trip to chester circa 2.5 hr drive each way and guess what, compliment after compliment regarding the car and it's features which was great but would she buy one, I doubt it, purely me own to the name, sad but true. Glad to say we have more sense and appreciate the quality and spec of our Karoq and love it!

Each retailer has different names for the different products. Basically you'll be needing regular unleaded, 95 RON. Putting something like Shell V Power or Tesco Momentum will be overkill in my opinion as the car isn't mapped for 98+ RON. Saying that some will argue the additives will be beneficial for engine life. Nik.

Off topic but I'm really liking emerald green, shame we always play it safe with blacks and blues....

The only thing I've added to our Karoq since it's arrival are the rear air vent trims. However, we are expecting a new dog towards the back end of this year so will be spending on dog guard and decent boot line along with a dog ramp as we're getting a large dog. Cleaning wise no car goes short in our household....

I would have thought a recall would only occur if there was some sort of design fault. Has this been mentioned on the forum before? Ours don't creak btw, yet....

I've gone through the 50 barrier a few to as on decent runs. The mpg from new is mid 40's from memory. In all more than satisfied as Its better than the car it replaced in mpg and countless other ways....

Rear seats

From my personal experience the VW, so I'm assuming the Skoda digital dash will be similar, is nowhere near as good as that fitted to the Audi cars. I found the VW dash to be very flat looking and nowhere near as graphical as the Audi system.

They must be a regional market thing, ours has them (uk).
