Living With A Sportline Plus 272 Hatch
It did alright overtaking a van from 30-60mph exiting a roundabout so no traction control light despite the 360nm of torque which is 10nm more than your 280 Nick.

Living With A Sportline Plus 272 Hatch
Dropped the 272 off at the dealer this morning and only driven 17 miles in the 150PS diesel SEL Superb replacement and loving everything about it so far even the sedate acceleration. Noticed it changes up much later than the petrol car for example at 39mph it was still in 5th gear whereas the petrol would be in 6th at just 33mph. Also it didn't change upto 7th on the motorway until I was doing 63mpg whereas the petrol car would change upto 7th at just 43mph. Once I get used to the different change up patterns of the DSG I like the fact that at an indicated 70mph it is doing just 1,600rpm in 7th. Also not much diesel clatter even at idle and even quieter on the motorway due to less engine and tyre noise thanks to the 235/45R18 Continental tyres. More comfortable around our town also thanks to softer dampers/springs and greater suspension travel. Forgot how much I missed the reversing camera from my Vrs245 and the position and brightness of the blind spot lights not on the glass anymore is a massive improvement to road safety because you can see them light up in the corner of your eye without having to turn your head and actually look in the driver's mirror. Other things that surprised me is how much I like the virtual dash and quickly scrolled through the driving data to find it doesn't need any Adblue for 8,500 miles which is when the car will have done 15,000 miles. Another surprise is how cheap diesel is compared to Tesco Momentum 99 octane petrol so filled up with 145 miles left and put in just over 55 litres at a cost of £60.92 which took the indicated range to 850 miles which is a good start. Even driving the 4 miles across Leicester to the fuel garage I managed to average 54mpg and 57mpg including a motorway section on the total relatively short 17 mile journey.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Put diesel in a Skoda first time in 5 years. Indicated 850 mile range on the short 13 mile drive home.

The Superb III Picture thread
Just collected this vision in Energy Blue with Canton, Virtual Dash, Blind Spot monitoring, Reversing Camera and 205 spare tyre in SEL spec so electric tailgate and Black Leather interior. Paid £22,800 which is about £10,000 less than a new one with 6,253 miles recorded.

Going too see and drive my first ever Octavia VRS 245 - need some help please
You forgot Comfort for DCC equipped cars. No only those that have the ground clearance to venture off road have the Snow option. Would use the wife's front wheel drive in snow rather than take the Superb which being 15mm lower than a standard Superb the Sportline would act like a snow plough. But in 2 hours will trade it in for something much slower but with 15mm extra ground clearance.

My current DSG has 12 gears, including Eco, Sport, Individual, Normal, 7 forward and 1 reverse.

I was correcting Stuart-h about the Vrs245 not have a 6 speed DSG. Yes I know the 245 came with a manual as I bought one new in August 2017 and the clutch survived intact for 29,000 miles.

Think all Vrs245 have a 7 speed DSG which needs attention at 80,000 miles.

Thanks might give that a go on the middle Sunday for a change. We often use local buses and do our own thing rather go on the organised trips some of which have been a little underwhelming to say the least.

Reduced emissions on 2021 2.0 TDI - making it a lot cheaper
My 2.0 litre turbo petrol Superb despite 4WD and the 7 speed DSG only has 161gm/km for comparison and weighs 1,660kg. Sportline Plus 272 hatch about to swap for 150PS diesel hatch 7 speed DSG Superb SEL.

Not sure what these lower co2 levels are on the Kodiaq or whether you are looking at front or 4WD but the February 2020 Superb I'm about to buy has amazingly low 101gm/km emissions which gives 72mpg on the combined cycle with upto 78mpg on the highway or over 1,000 miles per 66 litre tank (1,600km).

Ambition or Elegance?
Not Elegance and would be SE model in the UK.
-
2 cylinder mode
Also you need to be doing at least 1,400rpm on level ground or going downhill. The engine will need all 4 cylinders pumping when under load going uphill.

Ambition or Elegance?
If you post a picture of the seats it will be very obvious what trim level your car as they are different for style, ambition or elegance which follow the UK S, SE or SEL from 2017.

Never see 18s and front parking sensors
On the used 2020 Superb I collect this Saturday it is now a £645 option. Thankfully both that and the virtual dash were selected as useful options to have on this SEL.

Black pearl colour?
Usually just called Black Magic but it has a pearlescent finish and looks nice when clean in bright sunlight.

Living With A Sportline Plus 272 Hatch
Current and last tank sadly now 533 miles driven. Have 30 miles of range left which will not get me home and to the garage on Saturday so will use a Shell garage about 10 miles from work to put 10 litres of V-Power in so at least the low fuel warning light won't come when I drop it off. Car now done 14,282 miles.

SportLine radio screen
Just wondering do you invalidate your warranty every time you change the coding on your car or does your dealer authorise it and you keep the warranty. Also do you inform your insurance company of all these changes because if an accident is caused as a result of messing with the coding you would be up the creek without a paddle.
