The pipe which connects the rear washer is a good first call to check these are well known for popping off.

I get that bud like I say I was having to go into the boot and pull the release cable every time before filling up looked well dodgy lol.

scratch that yeah I just popped out and looked again see what you mean now I was looking for something larger lol.

Hmmmmm where exactly does that clip fit mate as I cant see anything like that on mine got me wondering now ???

You do know that the stereo should be on top and cubby at the bottom 😱

hi it was a sony stereo and no was not aware that an amplifier was needed to make radio work that would explain a lot thanks for that

Ok so as im running out of things to do on the furby lol not trying to temp fate but thought i would look into something that has been niggling me. When I had the new stereo fitted I was told the aerial needed a new cable fitting and that was why I was not able to receive radio on my stereo so im asking if anyone has any knowledge of this and how to do it as I do miss listening to the radio for a change whilst driving ???

I read that I might need to change some clips that hold the hand brake cables on when I change the cables any ideas on that ive not looked underneath yet as its soaking wet out ???

On the plus side the issue I had with the fuel flap seems to have self healed itself and now opens lol.

I managed to find a UK company they were 81p each plus postage so got those, I don't mind paying but does make me go red when I see these companies price hiking really cheap parts.

Am I going mad or are these now being made from gold as even ebay is trying to charge £6 for 1 lol.

Just a quickie does anyone know where to get those round plastic spacers from which click on the back plate behind the shoes ???

tbf mate the drums are only 12 months old did not feel any lips on them but will check tomorrow again just in case and will try adjusting your method 😃

I had this issue on mine and I resolved it by changing the fluid and bleeding the clutch its a quick easy job so might be worth a shot.

Hi all so despite changing my rear shoes and the servos earlier this year plus the associated springs and such I,m struggling to set the handbrake correctly. Normal braking is fine but despite following the guides to set handbrake wheels jocked up off ground and setting at click 1 until wheels are just binding its not working correctly. When I try to go for 4 or 5 clicks ends up with one wheel loose and other binding and on steep hills having to pull it up to like 7 or 8 clicks to hold the car. I,m thinking the cables are stretched tbh would you agree and if so is it an easy job changing the cables ???

I don't think the OP has any designs on staying oemish lol based on the lights he is after.

I used the topran one it's correct as the other guys are saying are you having any issues with the car over heating or anything like that if not then it seems you have no issue for us to give you advice on if the car is working correctly and you have no mil light or warning lights then your car is fine your looking for issues you don't have.

Are you having temp issues if your driving steady and temp needle is at mid point or just below then your all good don't take readers as gospel and other factors can come into play.

Do you mean 17 to 25 mpg if so as we've said its due to the disconnected 02 sensor and now it's reconnected that's proof it's probs defective as I've just been through this get it changed quick or your catalytic converter will be toasted before you know it.

What dort of figures you getting on the mpg ???

I would have thought the car eould be running poor as well as you say mil light must have been tampered with if it is the 02 sensor.

It's not the one to the pre cat 02 sensor is it that lurks down that area but would have thought you would tell if it was disconnected.
