Inner tube came early... 3 barrows back in action

patch on the inside part worked...this sealant stuff just doesn't want to clean off properly. was sealing until you apply pressure to the area or lower pressure and push as if riding then slight milky weep each time but did reseal. last effort is a patch on the outside, if this fails it's either throw a tube in or replace the rear tyre with the Forekaster that came on the bike. a quick look last night for tyres...jeez they're now near the price of car tyres i'll try and take a spin out tomorrow around the park at the back and see what happens, at least i can see the house! at the moment i'm out at 1.30 Saturday with the group and maybe Sunday on my own depending on how the legs feel , not over Stile Cop though or FTD/Monkey. 3 or 4 of our group have been down at Birches Valley on the new Blue trail and by all accounts the reports are good...nice flowing gravel with bermed corners, trail builders say it needs to harden up to prevent too many ruts

Got some decent size patches about somewhere, just need to get some more glue, feel a bit more comfortable with it as its a sidewall. Gunk is either Stans or Muc off, not sure TBH from memory. There was still enough wet gunk in there so I think I was unlucky?

first ride out with my usual Saturday group, i'd forgotten what is is like not going at your own pace you may notice i didnt finish at the start... go tubeless they said ...first puncture for a while which wouldnt re-seal, could see the goo coming from centre of tread but no joy. tyre off, valve out, throw in a tube, still nothing! so the mile walk of shame it was turns out the 'new' tube had a split and the tyre sidewall also was split, presumably pinched before i realised it was too flat to ride. so tube thrown away, patch wouldn't hold, and now need to try and patch the sidewall or just go back to tubed on the rear until i replace the tyres

another Pub grub night....off to somewhere near Shaftesbury for the night and take the mutt to a Vet who specialises in stem cell stuff to help her arthiritis, well hopefully if i can sneak a pic i will....

Looooooong day. 5am start, 8am in Ipswich and no decals to be found, 10 am finally surfaced. 5 units done and dusted, 2 days allocated but I'd rather get back sooner
