  1. We have 2 Citigo's, a 2012 and a 2016. One has a PID and one uses a phone and the app. The PID is head and shoulders better. As it is the Move & Fun app is problematical and since an update last November stopped working and wouldn't reinstall either. Many emails were exchanged with Skoda who were next to useless and it was never sorted which is odd as the VW and SEAT version does work. I would much rather have had the PID in both cars but I guess Skoda saved money by ditching it in favour of using your own phone.
  2. You got my hopes up there for a moment. Uninstalled the VW version and installed the Skoda one. Not a jot of difference so put the VW one back on and all fine again. There's still something wrong with the Skoda version :(
  3. I get the distinct impression that it may be one app with 3 slightly different versions but they don't talk to each other. I'm passed caring now, it's not my job to tell them the obvious. And Skoda have just emailed me to complete a survey of how well their customer service did.......
  4. Skoda seem to be superb at passing the buck having received the following email today: Thank you for your continued patience. I have received contact back from our applications team who have advised they’ve tried multiple times on multiple devices to replicate the fault you are experiencing without luck. For this reason there is nothing more that they can do in terms of finding a resolution, they have provided a direct contact to the Move & Fun App developers and have advised you will now need to take this up with them directly. You will need to fill in the relevant information and one of the App developer technical team will be in contact to support further, here is the link: https://www.skoda-auto.com/other/mobile-apps-help-desk Again, apologies that we are unable to assist you further. Thank you for contacting ŠKODA UK Customer Services. So Skoda UK passed it on to their apps team who can't find a problem so their solution is for me to contact the App developers direct who, judging by the email address, are the Skoda apps help desk. So if they're the helpdesk who are the apps team that have been looking into it? I've got a sneaking feeling I'll just end up back with the same time wasters. Looks like I'll just have to continue using the VW app that works fine as does the SEAT one. Out of principle I should be using the Skoda one but I give up, too much time has been wasted.
  5. Here is a link to the manual explaining how it works: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1334603/Skoda-Citigo.html#page=84-manual
  6. With the amount of road noise you get from a Citigo, especially over 40mph I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between an LP playing or the actual artist playing live in the back seats. If I was that worried about sound quality in a car I wouldn't have bought a budget car Budget car is the deal breaker here. It does have a decent stereo but it is a budget car. You get what you pay for so am wondering if your production equipment is top end or budget? If the stereo not being able to play WAV files is a deal breaker perhaps you bought the wrong car. To be honest I would imagine the vast majority of Citigo owners, myself included, have never even heard of WAV and many probably never even use the SD slot and just listen to the radio. As freemansteve said it's hardly a chore or time consuming converting the files to MP3. I was surprised my new phone only had a 6mp camera..... my mistake, it was a £100 Moto phone not a £1k iPhone..... Apologies if this comes across as harsh but your post reads like "I am only prepared to pay for a 3rd class seat but expect 1st class service".
  7. Yep, the VW version works fine but that's not the point. It's the same software as the Skoda one but Skoda have somehow stuffed it up again. Why should any Skoda owner have to use a sister companies app just because Skoda can't get their act together? Skoda customer service is appalling :( It's becoming more about principal now.
  8. Skoda UK initially who then forwarded it on to CZ for them to ignore me instead and who probably just pressed delete
  9. Yep, Move & Fun died after the last update back in November. I have had half a dozen or so email exchanges with Skoda who are "looking into it". Yeah right
  10. I am at the point of giving up. Skoda UK have been relatively ok at replying to emails but all they ever say is can we have screenshots so we can pass it on to our tech guys. I've sent them a screenshot of the Citigo opening screen (that was tricky as it only appears for 2-3 seconds) and a black screen. I can't really see how the heck that is of any help to their tech guys which is probably why I've been asked to send them 3 times now! Lucky we're not allowed to go anywhere at themoment
  11. Yep, I've emailed them direct as well. We shall wait and see again
  12. Move & Fun, the App that Skoda just can't help fiddling with or getting right! After a few months of working fine it suddenly decided it wouldn't open due to a lack of memory despite over 20GB being free on the phone. I ended up having to uninstall then reinstall it which just made matters worse. It will install but when you open it nothing happens apart from a fleeting glimpse of the opening screen then just nothing but a black screen. Looking at app feedback I am not alone. Why do they insist on constantly playing with it as every time without fail they **** it up!
  13. Oh dear, if you think me saying "It quite obviously isn't standard. The 62 plate is a SE Greentach and the 66 a Colour Edition both of which definitely haven't and never have had adjustable intermittent" is having an attitude then you've had a very sheltered life. At the end of the day it was you that started by clearly suggesting I was lying so you obviously have some concept of an attitude so by mate, you aren't worth talking to. No point replying as you're now have the honor of being the first person on my Ignored Users list.
  14. My attitude? You basically accused me of lying when I said it wasn't an option on the 2 Citigo's we own as all Skoda's have come with it for 20 years! Out of curiosity I just had a look at the 11 used Citigo's my local dealership has in stock and the only one that has adjustable intermittent is the electric one. No one asked you to apologise but I suggest you check your facts in future before making statements as you obviously have a problem with admitting you were wrong.
  15. I don't recall saying they didn't have intermittent, it's adjustable intermittent they don't have. I don't recall ever owning or driving a car that didn't have intemittent. It quite obviously isn't standard. The 62 plate is a SE Greentach and the 66 a Colour Edition both of which definitely haven't and never have had adjustable intermittent. Neither have auto wipers either.
  16. Not sure why you're amazed, I've owned over 20 cars and the grand total of one has had adjustable intermittent, a Suzuki Swift. Perhaps I just don't buy enough top of the range models
  17. Nope, neither came with that option.
  18. Of course the intermittent speed is another whole new issue. On our 62 plate the intermittent wipes every 5 seconds whilst on our 66 plate it is a useless 16 seconds!
  19. We've 2 Citigo's and both have wipers that switch to intermittent from continuous when stopped at traffic lights and restart as soon as you start moving. This feature has never been an problem/issue.

Never said it would. You set it up so when you open the hatch it lifts the shelf to just short of the lock position.

The parcel shelf is easy to sort. On both our Citigo's I bought the following: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-VW-GROUP-PARCEL-SHELF-STRAP-PINS-x2-1M6867574A/254215808063?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2X-Interior-Rear-Parcel-Shelf-String-Tonneau-Cover-Strap-Cord-For-VW-1K6863447A/392285186940?fits=Car+Make%3AVW|Model%3AGolf&hash=item5b5604eb7c:g:lD8AAOSw24hcw-wP At the time it cost under a tenner for each car, took about 10 minutes and ever since have had a parcel shelf that lifts when I open the boot and then lowers as I shut it.
  22. As mentioned above I'm pretty sure they all came with the wiring as the PID was an optional extra. There should be a triangular blanking plate that pops out and the connectors are underneath. My sons 62 plate just had the blanking plug so I popped it out an plugged in a second hand PID picked up off Ebay.
  23. Howdy, My android phone decided to have a funny 5 minutes and I now need to re install the Move & Fun app but what has happened to it? I can't find it anywhere on Playstore. Edit - sort of found it but it says my phone isn't compatible so I can't download it. Odd as it was working fine up until now!
