  1. So this pig a car I’ve recently had has been blowing fuse 4 (engine side). I had an auto electrician come out and trace this back to a leaking sump gasket dripping onto (I think) was the fuel pressure sensor/regulator. (Can anyone confirm this is lower than the sump gasket?) Anyway, he cleaned it off, and it worked fine for a few hundred mile. He said the leak needs doing as it’ll happen again. The problem being over Xmas it’s hard to get a thing done ain’t it. So, is the sump gasket a huge job? And can anyone confirm what it is leaking into under the sump gasket level? I’ll just replace it when it’s done.
  2. Is it noticeable? My vehicle is a taxi, so I can drive my car for 10 to 12 hours per day
  3. I’ve got a 2016 2.0. Will this work for me? Do I just Google the above title? My dog bone Mount bush is knackered, so it needs replacing anyway. I suppose it would be a good time
  4. I meant me buying the parts, and then getting the pros to do it. My local garage cant get parts for less than £1100, where I can get them for £600 from the same place.
  5. This part number keeps popping saying compatible open some, but not others 415054509
  6. Some parts sites are ‘correct fit’, some or ‘does not fit’ I have a 1.6 DSG 2016 with 168k on the clock. The flywheel is rattling, and the local specialist place said it’s flywheel. However, they are booked up for awhile. I would like to price the bits up myself to start. There is no drive issues, just the rattle.
  7. Did you sort this? Any idea where the pink wire which I’ve broken goes too?
  8. No damage. You are right though, although it was quite a a bit of force needed.
  9. 510 810 773 is the fuel flap actuator part number. It also matches an Audi A3. The fuel bracket part number is viewable too if anyone needs one.
  10. So it appears on our mk3, you have to prise the fuel bracket with screwdrivers, where in the past it’s been a torx bolt. Anyway, after my actuated packed up, I had to figure this out, so in posting it here with the part number so the next guy don’t suffer like I did.
  11. All 4 at the same time needed?
  12. Was it around about the 2000rpm stage it rattled?
  13. Did you find a guide to remove it? I’ve got a vibration, and now you’ve mentioned it, this may be it.
  14. Did you ever find out? I’m after the wire for the pink one.
  15. Just stuck on min my Superb 3 1.6 DSG. Immediately smoother, along with smoother gear changes. Mind you the old filter was fecked!
  16. I have a mk2 & mk3 and May swap the seats over
