What have you done to your Superb III today?
How much air is blown by the blower thingy while the test is done? Is it a slight breeze, or is it flying down the freeway at 160kph? The intercooler effectiveness will partly depend on the rate of the air flow past it.

Dragon Green Club
It's a great colour. But it's a bit divisive. My daughter wasn't very happy when we got it... Makes it easy to find the car in a carpark full of black/silver/grey cars though! This is my Dragon Skin (as its called in Australia) MY19 206kW (280ps) Sportline Wagon. Fully optioned with Supernova wheels (Black), sunroof and Virtual Cockpit. Bit of an odd example as Dragon Skin was not officially available on the MY19 here. I've only noticed one other Superb in the same colour in Melbourne in the last 2 and a half years, so I don't think it was ever a particularly popular colour.

2019 Superb 206 vs 2019 Golf R
Well done. My wagon is a 2018 MY19 too. Enjoy it.

2019 Superb 206 vs 2019 Golf R
2019 was the last (MY19) build of the non SportLine 206's for Oz. https://www.redbook.com.au/cars/results?q=(And.(C.Make.Skoda._.(C.Model.Superb._.Badge.206TSI.))_.YearRange.range(2019..).)&evnt=refinement Default was leather, Comfort Pack added perforated/ventilated leather. Note that from about MY17, Sportlines had most 'options' standard, whereas earlier Sportlines and all 'normal' 206's had tech/comfort packs as options. They were quite pricey $3500/$1500 (tech/comfort). The Golf R and Superb are similar, but a Golf R is going to be a more focussed driving car than a Superb.

roofbar & roofbox recommendations - kombi
Yes. I have them on my 2018 MY19 Wagon/Estate/Combi and the sunroof clears them when open and when opening. Images show from the side and then from the back, both with the sunroof open.

When was the change from 6 speed to 7 speed DSG on 280?
I'm pretty sure it was with the switch to the 272 for MY19 in 2018. The MY19 started production in September 2018. I don't think the '280' came with the 7 speed until the recent (2020?) move from the 272 to the new 280. Note that this depends on the market. In Australia we still have the 6 speed in the 'old' 280 (206tsi here), but we've had a limited run of Scout's with 272's and 7 speeds.

First time towing our caravan
I've had an issue when using a towbar bike rack and a heavily loaded car (3 bikes on the towbar, 4 passengers, 2 big dogs in the back, full roof pod) when the ACC has said it can't calibrate. Its happened twice (on the same trip). My thinking was that the car was a bit too heavy at the back and the radar was pointing too much at sky. The car certainly didn't look excessively down at the back and handled pretty normally. I've otherwise been able to use ACC with both the bike rack attached and also with my camping trailer. Factory towbar (detachable type) added post build, Sportline 280 wagon.

Fuel tank
Actually, I'm not so sure there's a bigger tank. I can't find different part numbers. There seems to be a couple of revisions, but the tank seems to be 3Q0201055Q. 3Q0201055Q 3Q0201055AP 3Q0201055CA 3Q0201055DD All the above are the same part, just later revisions. The DD part is the one that's currently available. Also used on a bunch of different VW's (Passat, Arteon) If there was a different tank, you'd expect a part number for it. I'm sure the definitive answer is on Erwin somewhere. When I first got my Erwin spec sheet on my Superb, I interpreted "1z2 - Increase in initial standard fuel filling" to mean that they put more fuel in at the factory. I thought maybe because in oz there's potentially bigger distances between ports, yards etc. Happy to be proven wrong!

Fuel tank
Hi JR, My Sportline shows 1Z2, although it shows as "Increase in initial standard fuel filling". Did all Australian Superb IIIs come with the bigger tank?

Sasha’s Superb SportLine Plus Facelift
Here in Oz, the colour is just called 'Dragon Skin', no yellow or green in the description. My MY19 wagon/combi/estate is Dragon Skin and the registration describes it as 'Gold'. Skoda Superbs aren't exactly common here in Oz (last year they sold 270 across the country) , and I've seen a total of ONE other DG Superb here in Melbourne (A city of 5 million) in the last 2 years. Makes it easy to find the car in a carpark!

Glass roof cracked
Just trying to understand this: So that's a crack across the STEEL roof, between the glass sunroof and the roof edge. is that right? I have a panoramic rood in my wagon/estate/combi and it looks a bit different. I assume this is a sedan/hatch like here where the roof is black:
-
Dragon Green
Its pretty rare here in Oz. I've got a MY19 DG wagon, even though it wasn't even officially offered on MY19. I've seen one other DG Superb in Melbourne in the last 2 years.

How to find out std spec of 67 plate Superb (or how to identify what options it has)
You can 'buy' some access to ErWin, Skoda's online service portal. https://erwin.skoda-auto.cz/erwin/showHome.do Then you can get a detailed list of the factory options/codes fitted to your specific VIN. There's also heaps of technical info/workshop manuals etc you can download. Access for 1hour is about 7 euro from memory.

The 280PS Thread
Here in Australia we've got the strange situation that we've got the Superb Scout with the 200 kW (270 bhp) engine and 7 speed (and GPF) and the Sportline with the 206kW (280bhp) and the 6 speed (and no GPF). Both MY21. I assume there's a stockpile of 206kW/6 speed combo's that they are happy to sell in territories that don't require the latest Euro pollution spec. Not sure of they've still got the valves in the exhaust....

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Did you notice it yourself, or did your new direct TPMS tell you?
-
Coding Clues?
If you pay about 7 euro, you can log in to https://erwin.skoda-auto.cz and download the specific info sheet for your car (via VIN). It will list all the PR codes. There's also heaps of useful and interesting stuff on Erwin, including workshop manuals. You get 60 mins for 7 euro. You can download a lot of stuff in 60 mins.....

New purchase VIN confusion
You can pay some money to access the Skoda Erwin online system. https://erwin.skoda-auto.cz/ I haven't used it since last year, but it was 7 euro for one hour access. From Erwin you can get a detailed build list for a VIN, with details of all original installed equipment. Also can access workshop manuals and lots of interesting info. You can download lots in one hour....

Does Tyre Pressure Monitoring system display pressure values anywhere?
On some instructions I've seen (Tiguan?) they put the antenna in the left rear under the door sill trim. Canbus is accessed at the front and run under the passenger (left) door sill trim. On Mk7 Golf they mount it underneath in front of the rear axle. It seems it needs to be rearward, but other than that its not too sensitive to location. I think tyre position is judged by signal strength for front/rear, and the sensors know if they are left or right based on rotation.

Does Tyre Pressure Monitoring system display pressure values anywhere?
I haven't done it (yet) but.... These parts SHOULD work on a Superb III https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32962290383.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.5ebb4eafOOqydt&algo_pvid=359f923b-0e27-4d86-8882-a5e9a567c9ea&algo_expid=359f923b-0e27-4d86-8882-a5e9a567c9ea-1&btsid=0ab6f82c15966995494215373e1404&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_ This is a DIRECT system with sensors in the wheels actually measuring the tyre pressure. This is then displayed on screen. Standard system is INDIRECT which, as others have said, is based on detecting changes in wheel rotation speed, and therefore diameter and therefore pressure. When you set the 'pressure' on the indirect system, you're effectively setting the diameter of the wheel. If that changes, based on wheel rotation detected by the ABS sensors, then it gives yo a warning. Basically an 'antenna' part that connects to CANBUS and 4x wheel sensors that need to be installed in the wheels and which directly measure pressure. Installation doesn't seem too hard. Needs coding. Then it will show individual tyre pressures on the entertainment screen. There's instructions around for fitting to Mk7 Golfs. As far as I know, this system was never actually fitted on the Superb III from factory, but works because of the amazing modularity of the MQB platform.

To Canton or not to Canton - that is the question?
You can access Erwin for 7 euros (I think) for an hour. You can then get the detailed spec sheet for any VIN. Canton audio is: 9VS Sound package "branded"

Steering wheel buttons
I've just had mine fixed under warranty. It was not working well from new. Dealer replaced the whole assembly 3v0919719f which includes the buttons on both sides. Mines a MY19 Sportline 280 4x4. I think the switches vary slightly with graphics. Mine is MY19, so I have a VIEW button, not a phone button.
