  1. I think it is the Traffication app, if I am not mistaken. You can check your settings in Traffication to disable the sound or even the entire notification.
  2. It's an usual practice for the VAG ecosystem.
  3. In Romania, for the Superb Sedan\Liftback, you can choose the rear wiper for an extra cost, so it's not included by default.
  4. The driving mode emphasizes eco-friendliness rather than safety. It resets itself to prevent the use of modes that harm the environment (sport, individual, etc.). It would have been smarter not to reset it if the driving mode is ECO. However, Skoda kept the implementation simple by resetting to normal regardless of the last driving mode. :|
  5. It's always one lane (my current lane) in my case. Superb MK4
  6. This is the quality ... nothing’s broken with your car :). I got used to it after a while.
  7. Indeed, this is a relatively new EU requirement, and new cars have a camera in the rearview mirror to monitor the driver's attention.
  8. Same version, 2763. Today, I did a 2-minute demo of the service during a drive (no assist, ACC, TA, lane assist, no glasses, nothing), and I received the warning 6 times. 6!! No doubt, there's a problem with the eye-tracking camera or other sensors involved in deciding whether to show the warning.
  9. Today I drove around 150 km on the motorway using ACC/Travel Assist, and I received the “Pay attention to the road” warning roughly 20 times. What concerns me most is that while some warnings might be expected if I briefly glance away, others occurred unexpectedly, even when I was clearly looking ahead at the road. The behavior is similar regardless of whether I’m wearing sunglasses or not, so I don’t think that’s the main factor. At this point, it’s becoming more distracting than helpful. I’m trying to understand whether: This is normal behavior on the new Superb, Other owners have experienced the same, or whether my car might need a calibration or software update. Car details: 2026 Škoda Superb L&K Is your experience similar?
  10. The Tiguan ones were just fine. I bought my Tiguan in 2019 and replaced the wipers four years later. All good. Besides that, I already swapped the OEM wipers on the Skoda for Bosch ones. They seem much better, but I’ll wait for the rain to give a final opinion. Thanks to everyone who responded.
  11. Thanks for the reply. Glad to hear that the Bosch wipers are better; they’re on my shopping list.
  12. Superb L&K - May, 2026 After driving in the rain and using the wipers for a while, I’ve noticed two strange things: Once the rain stops and the wipers stop running, a hazy/milky-looking area appears along the lower part of the windshield (on the outside). It looks almost like fog, but it’s definitely on the exterior. If I run the wipers again, it disappears, but after they stop, it gradually comes back, then fades away on its own after a few minutes. While the wipers are operating, they sometimes leave very thin water films in certain areas rather than completely clearing the glass. It’s not heavy streaking—just fine patches of water that remain briefly. The car is almost brand new (1.5 months old), with the original OEM windshield and wiper blades. I haven’t applied any glass coatings such as Rain-X or Gyeon. Has anyone seen something similar? Was it caused by contamination on the windshield, residue from the new wiper blades, or did it require replacing the blades? One more thing I’ve noticed: overall, I’m not particularly impressed with the OEM wiper blades. Compared to previous cars I’ve owned, this one doesn’t seem to wipe the glass as cleanly and occasionally leaves very fine water films behind. It makes me wonder whether this is just how the factory blades are, or if mine are an exception. Has anyone else had the same impression? If you’ve replaced the factory blades, which aftermarket brand or model would you recommend for noticeable improvements in wiping performance and overall quality?
  13. @jtypecav Did they get worse over time? I don't know what to expect in a few years.
  14. @Evolution13 - I kind of accepted the car :). It's been with me since May 21st. It's my fault that I didn't mention it when I picked up the car from the dealer, but, in my defense, I had no prior experience with leather seats, so I thought it was just a temporary issue. Well, it's not... Regarding your note about warm conditions, the car is parked underground, and the temperature is around 20 degrees. It went outside only a few nights. I noticed, though, that the problem wasn't as obvious after 2 days of sitting in the hot weather outside. Wondering if controlled heating of the chair would solve the issue.
  15. My new 2026 Škoda Superb L&K was delivered with the driver’s seat looking like this (see attached photos). The wrinkle/crease on the seat base was already there when I picked up the car. I initially assumed it would disappear after a while, but it has remained exactly the same. A few details: Superb Mk4 L&K Cognac leather/leatherette interior (L&K Suite) Ergo Comfort seats Car is only a few weeks old The crease was present from day one It has not become worse, but it has not improved either I understand that leather is not always perfectly smooth, but I am wondering whether this amount of wrinkling on a brand-new seat is considered normal, or whether it could indicate that the upholstery was not tensioned correctly during manufacturing. For those of you with the same L&K seats: Did your seats look perfectly smooth when new? Have you seen similar wrinkles from delivery? Would you consider this within normal tolerances, or would you raise it as a warranty claim with the dealer?
  16. With practice, it gets easier. I just need to reverse more slowly than usual and keep an eye on the edges of the rear sensor zones. They turn red (or something similar) when an approaching vehicle is detected, even before it starts braking. That’s how I handle it, and I actually find it to be useful safety training for myself. 🙂
  17. @Evolution13 You're right; it might be because of the country where the car was sold.
  18. I am on 2768. I experienced losing connectivity a couple of times and had to disconnect the 12V battery; now it seems stable. However, I am not sure which software version I had at that time. I have received several OTA updates since then. My remote operations, however, are not working at all; managing the car with the app is a mess. I will visit the dealer's service center in a few days to see what they say. Also, I am trying to resolve the issues myself with the Skoda support team, but I don’t expect miracles from this approach.
  19. The key was in the car; it doesn’t matter whether it was in the back seat. This is a bug, period—a bug that should never happen at this level. 😥
  20. @Badelhas Can you provide more details about your incident with the car that stopped working during your trip? What exactly happened?
  21. Thanks, @DavidY , I will have a look at the thread. In the meantime, after disconnecting the battery twice, I haven't encountered the issue anymore. It's been a week or so since then.
  22. A 2L engine is fine unless you care a lot about fuel economy and do a lot of driving in traffic. If long-distance trips are your main focus, then 2L engines are the best choice. But if heavy traffic trips are common for you, I think you should go with the 1.5 engine. I used to drive a 1.5 Tiguan and now driving a 2.0 Superb. I find both to be good engines.
  23. Hi, I have a new Skoda Superb Mk4 (2026, MIB4 infotainment, software version 2768). Today, the car went offline in MySkoda, and the globe icon in the infotainment turned grey. Important detail: The car is usually parked in underground level -2 parking, where the mobile signal is extremely weak or nonexistent. After taking the car outside and driving it for a while, it still remained offline. Current symptoms: grey globe icon remote services unavailable car shown offline in app no SOS/eCall errors Has anyone experienced this after losing LTE signal in underground parking? Does the OCU/telematics module sometimes get “stuck” and require: infotainment reboot, deep sleep, or dealer reset? Trying to understand whether this is: a common MIB4/software/backend issue, or something worth checking at the dealer already. One more important detail: disconnecting the 12V battery and reconnecting it completely solved the issue temporarily. The car immediately came back online afterward. However, the exact same problem returned the next day in the same scenario: - car parked on underground level -2 with no/very weak signal, - then remaining offline afterward with a grey globe icon. This makes me suspect the telematics/OCU module may be getting stuck after signal loss, rather than this being purely a backend/server issue. Thanks.
  24. Did you disable the keyless feature? This happened to me. I had to turn it back on, even though I kept the unlock/lock feature disabled when arriving or leaving the car.
