Seat help - new car and seats murder my back
I can definitely recommend a Backfriend

Warranties
I think that's just with the All-In Plan.

Varioflex seating
That is very plausible ๐ While the Varioflex is great an even bigger deal breaker for me would be the inclusion (or additional cost) for the Winter Pack Plus (especially the heated windscreen) FWIW, I'm not currently looking but will definitely consider another Karoq when the time comes to change the one I have. It has both features and would 'mourn' the loss of them

Varioflex seating
Hi folks Just been browsing the latest Karoq brochure and see that Varioflex seating is not mentioned. I knew it had stopped being a standard fitment on some models but it does not look like it is available as an option on any model. I find it a great thing on my existing MY 22 car Anyone got the lowdown on why Skoda have ditched it as a feature?

Park assist
Done a couple of jobs for me (Seat Arona and Skoda Karoq) and can highly recommend them. https://www.mobileincar.com/

Sportline dilemma
I concede I may have got my facts wrong but I think the Sportline might be subject to the higher rates of VED due to the original purchase value. i.e. the book price, not necessarily what a buyer would have actually paid for it. I like the spec compared to my SEL but not enough to have a significant additional cost just to be able to drive it on a public road. Happy to be corrected if I've misunderstood the VED rules. Only flagging this up in case it might be a deal breaker for anyone considering one.

Rain sensing wipers or not
May be of interest https://obdeleven.com/customizations/skoda/karoq/2021/teardrop-wiping I enabled it on our Karoqs with a One Click App and it is quite handy. TBH, the symptoms you describe do sound like a possible fault as it is random but you never know if it is a similar setting.

Heated front screen option?
Although the thread is about heated screens I'd like to chip in about the Varioflex seats as they have been mentioned in the quoted post. Hope the OP doesn't mind. Both our cars came with them as standard for MY22 and MY23 SELs. It is a brilliant feature imo. Mine are permanently removed as I use the car for transporting tools for work. Makes it like a van but doesn't attract the attention of the ne'erdowells in the same way. If anyone is unsure about them here's short video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvxfbP_pxgQ&feature=youtu.be

Heated front screen option?
Just over ยฃ1k Cost as much as it is a faff doing it after it has left the production line. Screen needed to be sourced from Skoda, fitted by a separate screen specialist and then coded to be controlled by the infotainment screen by a further 3rd party firm. We decided we really wanted them despite the cost. One of the cars we got rid of when we bought the Karoqs had it and the other didn't. We considered it a must have in any new (to us) car and couldn't find used Karoqs with the Winter Plus Pack (incl the screen) already fitted. They both had heated front seats and steering wheels fitted when built. VED for our cars is ยฃ190 and when it could have been/be several ยฃ100s more

Heated front screen option?
My wife and I had retro-fitted heated screens fitted to both our Karoqs Expensive but wouldn't be without them. Has been a <insert Deity of choice> send for both of us recently. I think the point above about VED is a good one and the reduced car price will reduce the VED offsetting the cost of the screen if you went down that route

Bosch wipers for 2025 Karoq.
Without a Trade Card Halfords aren't the cheapest but provide a potentially convenient way of comparing the various connector formats with the ones on your car. Pop 'em off your car. Work your way along the rack checking the different models Definitely recommend Bosch as a good blade. Made a huge difference to my own MY22 and my wife's MY 23 cars.

Reversing Camera Image

Reversing Camera Image
Hi Don't know the answer to your question but maybe worth a look through these to see if anything available on the rear view camera. https://obdeleven.com/customizations/skoda/karoq/2021

Which all season tyre?
I had CC3s fitted to my MY22 Karoq on Wednesday. Didn't realise there was an All Weather Tyre forum let alone a thread or I would have posted in here. You can read what I think about them so far in the thread I started the Karoq forum but got moved to this one. Can't comment on longevity after only 2 days but basically I rate them.

Michelin Crossclimate 3s
Did a proper run in the car today and even more impressed with the tyres. Absolutely persisting down and rock solid. Je suis un tres joli lapin. Rabbit was as close as I could get to bunny ๐

Michelin Crossclimate 3s
I had some life left in the old ones but really didn't like them. Only taken this long to swap as needed to sort out the sheckles
- Advice needed! 2025 Karoq 1.5 TSI DSG juddering when pulling away - Only 5,000 miles on it.

Michelin Crossclimate 3s
Could have tagged this on to an existing thread but as the tyre specific ones aren't about the CC 3s specifically and others that mention tyres aren't really about this make and model's performance. Anyway, with that out of the way...... Had a set of CrossClimate 3s fitted today. Ordered online from Blackcircles and fitted locally by a tyre fitting place. What a difference over the crap Bridgestones that they replaced. I felt the ride, handling and noise were improved. I appreciate that part of that improvement will be down the the greater tread depth and relatively softer rubber but no question I'm happy with my experience of them so far. One thing that is not subjective like the aspects above is the grip. I commented in the recent "Judder" thread that the problem might have been the tyres. I talked about my experience with the Bridgestones fitted to my wife's MY23 and my own MY 22 Karoq. After I left the fitter I tried to reproduce the spinning/juddering when pulling out of junctions and just couldn't. If you're in the market for new 'oops I think you could do a lot worse than these.

Karoq Fuel Flap wonโt open
This is the first time this has happened on either of our cars but Sue's is used very infrequently so doesn't get topped up often. Going to give both a scoot forthwith ๐

Karoq Fuel Flap wonโt open
The fuel filler flap wouldn't open on my wife's MY23 Karoq today. FWIW, I tapped it a few times and it suddenly opened. Tried it three times and it kept doing it. Seemed to be just 'sticky' rather than secured shut if that makes sense. Will have a proper look and fiddle tomorrow when I have more time.
