  1. Looks like I made the mistake of hijacking the OP. I'll repost as a new post and hope someone has an answer.
  2. Can anyone tell me if the Skoda Connect services are available in Australia? Since they amalgamated the two apps to MySkoda, I no longer see my service history, my car image is replaced by a generic Skoda Superb. I see Vehicle Status (Mileage, Oil Change & Service Inspection), Vehicle Health report (Lights, Engine, Tyres, Brakes,Comfort, Assistance & Other) and Trip Planner. There are none of the remote controls (windows, doors etc.) that I have seen on the UK version.
  3. Congratulations on the baby first and completely agree with your sentiments on the Superb. Superb by name and all that goes with it. Cheers.
  4. @JR RS it seems there is no end to Gandalf's Evolution!!
  5. @JR RS is right. I followed his advice and I received the comprehensive report. Mine was 8 pages but I also downloaded all the manuals - In total 79 files. Probably overkill on my part but as I had paid for a 1hr account, I figured I would download everything I could. See the folder structure attached -
  6. Ordered $A23.40 delivered. Great price!
  7. Thanks @JR RS. Much appreciated!
  8. Can you share the link @JR RSas there are plenty of options? Cheers
  9. Thanks. I assume that means also having both MIB1 and 2 folders on the USB?
  10. Will the update work if you only copy to USB the region files specific to your country, e.g. Australia? Thanks.
  11. @JR RS. That’s so low the gravel in my driveway will scrape on it!!
  12. Not a fan of BT? I have other more sophisticated BT enabled chargers for my hobby of RC aircraft and find the information on Ah charged and history retention invaluable. Whilst I’d prefer WiFi, BT is a satisfactory alternative.
  13. This is another reason I bought the Victron. It can be left on indefinitely as it will switch to Storage charge. See descriptions in the attached brochure. Folder-A5-Blue-Smart-IP65-Charger-120V_EN_web.pdf
  14. I had the same issue due to a low battery charge. The Superb is not my daily drive car, so it sits idle, sometimes for weeks. I read about the Ctek chargers but then was told this is a better unit so I purchased this Victron IP65 12v/10 It is Bluetooth and the app has a nice interface, showing the stages of charge - Bulk, Absorption, Float and Storage. It also has a Regenerative function. It has a RRP here in Oz of $218.88 but I bought it on special here for $152.
  15. @JR RS I downloaded manuals and vehicle data. I did however notice this on a number of downloads. I assume that means the manual did not match my VIN? I also could not find any maintenance history, should there be?
  16. Thanks John. I saw that page but didn’t commit as I hadn’t entered a VIN. I can now see that is entered after paying. Which I will do. Cheers
  17. Hi John, What report on Erwin provides the build report you refer to. None I see so far ask me for the VIN? This is what I see and I can't see where I register a VIN?
  18. Hi John, What report on Erwin provides the build report you refer to. None I see so far ask me for the VIN?
  19. I had the same problem until I realised that "waving" the foot is not the right way to do it. You need to "kick" your foot under the centre of the boot. Well, that works flawlessly for me now. BTW Great looking car @SashaGrace. I wanted a wagon (Estate where you are) but couldn't get what I wanted in the specs I got in the hatchback.
  20. Question- did you have to beef up other components to handle this?
  21. Is the App universal world wide as I don’t see that or any other features eg that control windows or door locks on my version in Australia? I have v3.70 Thanks
  22. Very neat idea. Is it easy to remove the tray unit?
  23. Man what a great post @JR RS. Kudos to you for your dedication with your vehicle but what a great reference post for everyone else who may be looking for just a few of your upgrades. The links you posted are invaluable. I'd strongly suggest to the moderators that this should be a sticky post as an easy reference for others. Well done again John - now I have a Superb MkIII MY18.5 and I'll have to work out the must have's from your post. Cheers, George
  24. Not surprising they'll use the 280 for highway patrol. It's a very underrated car by those that haven't experienced driving one. I can't believe how quick mine is! Australia should do the same.
  25. Thanks. I'll do a separate post to ask what others do to keep their maintenance records intact and up to date if they don't go to a franchised dealer.
