push the buttons in with your finger a little and that will let your tips get purchase, then gently remove the trim piece

hope they are better than the last Mtec I had fitted, colour looked great, but at night you could see bugger all!

if its like the apr kit I had on my Mk2, you will be surprised how much better it sounds on the outside of the car, even though the difference is quite subtle on the inside, if you get it on a rolling road, stand in front for a listen

Interesting, well as I have only gotten the car, and then switched that setting after getting flashed a few times, Ill have a go turning it up and down, see if it does actually affect it.

Not in my experience Matt, I found that when I set it to 'High' it was much quicker to dip?

worth mentioning that I find the Auto Lights excellent, but had to adjust the sensitivity to High, as I found it was a bit slow otherwise, leaving me getting flashed/blinded by oncoming drivers

just got my new MK3 a couple of days ago, I had some LED spare so I upgraded all the interior lights, the mirror lights will be done at some point, interrested to see how you all get on!

well, just to update, the VRS is going! I have been contemplating what to do all year, and finally got a deal on a new Octavia I couldnt refuse. This time around I have gone all sensible, so Im collecting my new 2.0 TDI 150 Elegance this week! 0% finance, free servicing and no tax combined with 50+ Mpg will represent a fairly good saving per month for me, whilst also having a new car :-) Will not be hitting it too much with the mod stick either, as I got carried away with this one. Plans for the new one are perhaps some EIbachs, Rims and a Remap/Tuning Box and a few little finishing touches like LED interior lights etc. apart from that, drive it and save money to spend on other things! Parts will be available for sale soon when I get some time to list them!

I had a 12 week wait on my current VRS, but some of the waits on the MK3 are ridiculous!

dealer called yesterday, my new ride has arrived, just getting PDI'd etc now, then I should be able to collect on tuesday :-)

its got a few options afaik, tbh I need to get the full run down, I know it has towbar prep and the winter pack, I went against my own rules and done a deal down the phone on a prebuilt car I didnt know the full spec of, lol

jon, have you got a link to those? just ordered myself a 2.0 tdi Elegance and its going to need lowered!

so I put down a deposit on my new Elegance on Thursday, dealer says it should be here within 3 weeks (its prebuilt) glad I dont have to wait for months!

sorry I havent been on much so havent replied! well I bought them and had them wired into the window electrics, although im sure if you wanted you could have them wired to the lighting circuit, but then they wouldnt be on when actually driving the car?

well as Preston_Motors has already posted the deals, I finally made a decision too, no VRS for me this time, with the lack of incentives I just couldnt justify one, as it was coming in over budget, a nice new Elegance however, came in nicely under budget, is sitting built and will be mine within 3 weeks! the 0% and 3 years servicing swung it for me in the end :-)
