  1. Old topic, but let's contribute. Today installed Milltek SSXVW349 on Skoda Superb 280. Perfect fit as I have expected. I have to measure if there is change in performance, feels like mid-range is better, but I have to confirm it. Audible change is almost not distinct. On idle, city driving, I can not hear the difference. On full throttle it is also not obvious, at least not from the inside. For sure there is some change, but not that is night and day. Car is already Stage 1, so noise was harder than stock due to higher turbo boost. Supposedly rear O2 sensor is already disabled in the map, so I should not have any codes related to downpipe installation. And 200cell cat helps too. So, to confirm that downpipe from Golf 7R is suitable for 280 for sure.
  2. 600bhp is another level with another problems. 450bhp is mild stage 3. Shoukd be reliable.
  3. Ok, for somebody even 150bhp is enough, for others 600bhp is not. Value for money, I agree with you, but it is all up to personal preferences. Only drawback I would accept is reliability of the setup. Everything else is personal choice. I thought you had some big issues. You could run PowerMax Stage 1 without Intercooler and Downpipe and it will bring you to 400bhp. I think it would be reliable as any Stage 1 car, but somehow it is Stage 3 having in mind turbo mod.
  4. Two different worlds having in mind performance and economy. TSI is let's say 30% thirstier. CJXA is 280 engine, CJXB is for other VAG brands. Talking for 2017. this is the one to look for.
  5. Totally agree with edwards. I am not familiar with curent TDI engines, but I think they have at least that same problem with water pump / thermostat plus few more. 2.0 TSI is pretty solid having in mind what provides.
  6. 7gti is not bad at all. 6gti and 6r have problems with oil consumption, chain, water pump,... You need to decide what is important for you, reliability, performance, cost, economy,...
  7. With 280 cjxa you will not have a problem. Gearbox is good too. Restyle with 272 engine does not have mpi, so you could end up with carbon build up, esspecialy with short rides in Serbia. But 7speed gearbox is more economical. 220 engine is almost the same as 280. Turbo is different, compression ratio,... But it has longer gears even in 6 speed version. It is fwd and rare. But interesting for tuning with is38. Would be faster than 4x4 in 100-200 and with higher top speed and better fuel economy on the highway. My average consumption in last 60.000km is 11.7l/100k, while 50.000km is on Stage 1 with 350hp. This is only drawback comparing to 1.4/1.5.
  8. Hello Aleksandar, since I am from Serbia too, I can say that CJXA has only major problem with water pump/thermostat. I have replaced mine and it costed less than 500eur with original Skoda parts. There are no other major problems. It need to be maintained well, quality oil, quality petrol, quality parts...every 10.000km I am thinking to sell mine, but I am not sure what to buy after to satisfy what Superb provides now and provide something more.
  9. For st1 and st2, even for mild st3, not needed. Neither one, lpfp nor hpfp.
  10. I think it only changes let's say multiplicator value for the pump voltage. For example if it pumps 3bar at 6v and 6bar at 12v, new one shoukd have coefficient less than 1, so 5v is 3bar and 10v is 6bar. This is simplified solution. It will pump 7.2bar at 12v then.
  11. Not possible with Powermax stage 1 to go to 480. You will be happy if it goes over 460hp, even with HPFP. 520nm is already limit for stock engine, so be aware. It would be great that you provide both curves on the same graph chart: for stage 2 and stage 3.
  12. Denso IKH22 are Iridium In Denso catalog it is for CJXB engine, but it is the same as CJXA.
  13. It should be 1.2 bar, altogether with atmospheric 2.2 bar On stage 1 it is in the range 1.5-1.65 bar without other modifications.
  14. I am not sure, I bought my car as it is and I sm pretty sure previous owner did not changed anything as he could add some other more useful options.
  15. Try double press and keep holding after second press. It is also working from more than 2m, does not mater how far away you are, car can not determine distance.
  16. 7r production started earlier (2013.), they abandoned counter in later years of all similar vehicles I guess.
  17. Pretty sure they do not have it too. I think just early versions of Golf 7R have counter. Never heard about it for any later version of Skoda, Cupra, VW...
  18. My tuner has checked this and confirmed there is no counter counting number of LC's. No need to launch it 200 times, counter is visible. I think it is even visible by vcds. So, first versions of 280 pre-facelift do not have counter. Enjoy launching
  19. Delete kits are available. So, it will work. Guess it can be reprogrammed too.
  20. I think Skoda does not have LC limiter, at least 280. It was present just on earlier versions of 7R.
  21. It is downstream sensor, could be even easier to replace, i can not remember, but I think you need to do it from under the car. I also guess error will be removed after few km of driving.
  22. You just need a spanner and thats all. At least for 2.0 tsi. Not hard to do. It is cheaoer to buy spanner that to oay for service for max half hour job.
  23. Monroe is OE and you can buy spare ones. I have replaced mine and it is better than it was used to be, but old ones had 170.000km, so it is expected. For less than half a price of B4 or B6 dcc they are worth if yours are are already worn out.
  24. But there is no recommendation or limit. If I remember correctly, Golf 7r had counter and limit and you were not able to use LC anymore.
