  1. Mine is 22.1 and the main software is 0276. I had the map uodate files plugged into the car for a good 2 hour drive the other day but at no point did it seem to do anything. like i said, guess my car is still only OTA updates.
  2. I have tried but the car will just not see any update files when I try. No matter what I try or how long the usb stick is left fitted, it does not want to update. Looks like it is still just OTA updates for my car, may have to re-subscribe to the Skoda connect services if I want updates.
  3. Hi Has anyone managed to manually update an Mib3 system yet, I have a 2020 year UK Kodiaq but the update does not seem to work yet. I thought I read there was a software update to allow manual map updates but does not look like it has happened. I have not subscribed to the Skoda connect services since they expired so wondered if I need to to get any updated.
  4. Hi Has anyone managed to update the maps on a MIB3 system yet with a usb c stick (Kodiaq 2020 model UK) I have tried but it does not seem to see any update files on the usb stick and wondered if anyone had managed it yet.
  5. Cheers for the info. Looks like it is back to the dealers for me then.
  6. Hi Can someone do me a favour and let me know if hot air comes from the middle two air vents when you select hot. My car only seems to allow cold air through them with hot air only from the two side air vents. and no air from the middle vents when hot is selected. I had the car in for work on the air vent system and when i picked it up I questioned if they should supply hot air and was told yes but they never have since got the car so wondered if they were meant to or not.
  7. You can turn off the part of ACC that will change speed with road signs, then it will still slow down and speed up with traffic but not slam on the brakes when the speed signs change or go above the speed top speed you have selected.
  8. I had some of the same issues with ACC. I had to turn off the predictive part as it would see a road sign on a side road for 40 and slam on the breakes when doing 70 down a dual carriagway. Not turned it back on so no idea if still an issue but as all it is doing is adjusting speed to the road signs it sees, I guess it will still be doing it. Only really happened when it saw a speed sign for a road parallel to the one I was driving on. I have also had it where it thought I was driving on the right and would slow down when trying to pass cars on the motorway, tapping the accelerator makes it ignore the car. And I have had it decide to display the road signs in KPH not MPH so 70 mph displayed 110 and 30mph displayed 50, but never had it change speed when displaying KPH just stuck to the speed selected even before I turned the predictive part off. It was in the dealers for those issues and others, not really sure what they did but it has not done either of those for a while, probably a software update by them. The SOS is a known issue and it does need a software fix at the dealers. Have you tried rebooting the infotainment system by holding the power button untill you hear a pop through the speakers. I would speak to the dealers and explain that others have had the same issues and can they find out about any software updates to fix it.
  9. Others have posted that it can get stuck in the stowed position due to lack of use, mud and stuff holding it in the stowed position, If I recall they had to get under the car and pull it down manually, like already posted, the button just releases it and you still have to physicaly push/lock it either in position to tow or back under where it is stowed.
  10. Car in at the dealers for the problem. Been informed that the sound is not the wireless charger but from one of the air vent actuators, so needs some dismantling to find out which one and replace it, all under warranty. Courtesy car from dealer while they look at my car so will have to see how long it takes to fix.
  11. Mine is definitely from the wireless charger area. Sounds like an electrical buzzing and not anything loose or rattling.
  12. No just the normal sound system.
  13. I has only just started doing it. A couple of months ago my phone overheated, only the once, while charging using it so it may be linked. Will have to wait to see what the dealer says if I can ever get through to them.
  14. Has anyone else had a buzzing sound coming from the wireless charger area. It usualy happens when no phone is charging Happens with or without the engine running. Trying to get it booked into the dealers to have a look but just curious if it something known about.
  15. Mine only changes if another user profile is selected, I have the dash set up one way and my wife has another display setup under our profiles.
  16. When I used the app, I don’t anymore, I had that happen quite often. A refresh usually helped make the app show the correct locked status of the car.
  17. Managed to get it to connect, no idea how as I didn't change anything just tried again and it connected, so all good now.
  18. Managed to get my phone to connect, no idea how as all I did was try again and it connected. I didn't change anything since I last tried so no idea what happened to allow it to connect but seems all good now.
  19. Cheers for the info and replies. I won't be paying for any plan, not worth it for me. I have mamaged to get my pone to connect, no idea how as I didn't change anything just tried over the weedend and it connected, so can use my phone data now if needed.
  20. Yea I saw that, £90 a year for 25gb, not sure if that is total usage for the year and not sure it is worth it. Looks like I need to talk to the dealer to find out why I can’t connect my phone to use my phone data.
  21. Hi I have a year old car with the built in Esim. All the infotainment services and the phone app have stopped working as they were only for the year and I have not renewed them, but what about the Esim. I believe I was told when I picked up the car that the Esim was for either 4 or 7 years, can't remember how long, but wonder if it has stopped working as the internet radio will not work nor the Traffication app that did work but has stopped even though it expires end of Febuary Does anyone know if after a year you have to buy a data plan to keep the car online, I have tried to connect the car to my phone to use my phone data but cannot get that to work.
  22. I have tried with that option on and off but no luck, my daughter can use my phone as a hotspot so the phone will let things connect and work. Guess it is another bug with the car 😞
  23. I have tried to connect my phone everyway I can, cable, bluetooth and wifi but still cannot get the car to use it as a hotspot. Not sure what option you mean with usb/cable only or wifi/bluetooth, I have tried with every option I can find on and off but no luck./ Carplay works fine just not the phone as a hotspot.
  24. I don’t have the mirror usb so key so was not sure how much power it supplied. Like “ apshep “ posted, it is not difficult to hard wire in a dash cam using the guide posted on this forum if you don’t have the mirror USB port.
  25. It is an iPhone and cannot see anything other option to either turn on or off. The car can see my phone but it just will not connect. I have CarPlay working fine but not getting any luck as using my phone as a hotspot.
