SPOTIFY problem with Android Auto
You press the power button on the front of the hifi screen until it turns off and then you get a thump through the speakers then let go. It just reboots it

Web Radio on Amundsen - never streams
I could never get it to work either so eventually gave up. When it came to renew my second year online services I didn't bother. Couldn't really see any benefit tbh

SPOTIFY problem with Android Auto
I think I have had a similar issue a while ago. From what I can remember I deleted the cache on the phone for Spotify, this will delete any downloaded music, then restarted the phone and also restarted the Car Audio system, holding down the power button till it turns off the restarts, and it seemed to work. TBH I get a lot of issues with AA, though I think this is more the wireless system, which an audio system restart always fixes.

Road Trip
It is a nice, comfortable car to drive thats for sure, especially on longer journeys you get less fatigue. I find on a long journey I can easily manage close to 60 MPG which is amazing.

Navigation Database update Amundsen
I know someone with a Yeti and AA is not built in (mat be able to be activated by a dealer). Are you sure that AA is part of the spec for your car?

Navigation Database update Amundsen
Do you mean the list for AA Wireless or just for AA? If its not on the wireless list, and the car has it included in the system, then you should be able to get it via USB cable.

Navigation Database update Amundsen
Not sure what that is but its not an Amundsen system on a Kamiq. If you have a Fabia, depending on how old it is, it might not even have AA. Usually you can either connect it wirelessly, you need to go into Android Auto settings on your phone and tock the wirelessbox (providing your phone supportts it). Alternatively the USB-C socket should let you plug your phone into it and just load it up automatically as AA is built into Android.

quick questions, entry/exit and engine size
I'd say the Kamiq is closer to a car than an SUV height wise. Its certainly not as high up as the Karoq is. I have to say though that I find it great. You would probably find it slightly higher than the Polo ofr example. Its a dream to drive, I have the 115 with Manual gears and its increadibly responsive and comfortable to drive. I remember test driving the 95Bhp a few years ag on the New Ibiza and was surprised by how good it was but the 115/110 comes with the 6th gear on DSG which makes longer journeys so much more relaxed. Fuel economy is very impressive but I am not sure there is much of a difference between them.

Moving On
Yeah I kinda think the dealer support is more to do with that dealer/chain then the manufacturer. Have to say I love my Kamiq, well appart from all the rattles and creaks anyway. But, as with everthing, its personal choice and what you like. I have a Honda Civic years ago and the dealer support was shocking. Just goes to show.

My New Kamiq arrived at Dealer minus Blind Spot Detection 😞
It was part of the standard UK Speck, Unless they have changed it. I have the SE L and it is included in that and its a standard model. Mine is just over a year old now though. I't nice to have but, as previously stated, I would not have paid extra for it.

Westfalia detachable tow bar.
Interesting I don't get anything on either of the screens, just the loud continuous tone on reversing and the beeping with indicator use.

Westfalia detachable tow bar.
Weird mine makes a continuous, loud tone through the speakers. Also makes a Beeping with indicating. Not sure if I can fix this and the dealer who fitted it is down in the South of England so not able to go there.

Westfalia detachable tow bar.
Yeah thats the same one I had fitted when I first got mine. Out of interest when you go into reverse do you get a continous beep? The towbar is fine, I think mine was under £500 which wasn't bad for a removable towbar.

Android Auto Maps in dash display
Can't seem to open that, its in a foreign language and needs to log in. Is it not possible to have the android route guidence in the middle?

Android Auto Maps in dash display
- Android Auto Maps in dash display
Wondering if anyone knows this. I use google maps via Android Auto but every time I use it the map on the dash goes to the built in Maps but with no route showing. I usually use the dash display with the 2 dials on it. However I notice that if I cycle through the different dash's then the one with the 2 boxes at either side shows the google maps (basic) route in the centre. Is it possible for the google maps route to be displayed in the centre of the 2 dials display rather than the Skoda maps? I hope i have described this correctly.- I hope you are all being sensible about THE PETROL SHORTAGE!!
- Brake pad thickness
My dads 2 year old Karoq which has only done 6000 already needs new front brake pads, he's not very happy.- I hope you are all being sensible about THE PETROL SHORTAGE!!
- Rattles and Creaks
Yeah thats basically what I was told- Rattles and Creaks
I also found the panel under the climate control unit is loose and moves when you press it. There was a terrible buzzing coming from it. it slides off and I re seated it but its the same. I am going to try and use foam tape to see if that stops it- Rattles and Creaks
I've probably got no chance but does anyone know how to dismantle the centre console? I'm going to try and stop this noise which is coming from it.- Rattles and Creaks
Yeah ive got several coming from, what seems like, the inside of the dashboard. On the right (or wrong) surfaces it seems like the whole car is creaking.- Rattles and Creaks
So have had my Kamiq for 9 months now and the number of rattles and creaks is becoming a joke. Honestly its the worst car I have ever had for this. Its been back at the dealer a few times but they never seem to be able to fix the issues. The latest one is a twanging sound coming from the central arm rest area. It's like something is loose inside the arm rest. If I thump the arm rest on the side it makes the same noise. It was in the dealers last week for this and they said, though they could hear it, they didn't think replacing the arm rest would solve it???? Anyone else having this issue? - Android Auto Maps in dash display
