  1. I dont know about any specific update, but i havent had issues for a while now (a month or two)
  2. Problem persists even with the new iphone14/pro/promax… as i can understand the problems is somewhere in between, some kind of gray area. Problema are wide spread on all VAG group cars with mib3 infotainment using wireless carplay (gmaps, waze and even apple maps). good read is a thread on apple forum. I do hope it gets fixed soon. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/254248775
  3. Same here... since i didn't renew the Skoda Infotainment online service (hence the gmaps has much better and accurate traffic information than built in sat nav) i also do not use built in sat nav to navigate my routes. But as @mitchec said speed limit warnings and travel assist functions depend on GPS so the issue was mainly there. And i just got my GPS antena replaced with the new one. Old one was malfunctioning and by their comments, the microchip connections were really in bad condition. So now, fingerscrossed, all is working fine. Hope it stays that way for while lol. Also the SOS error is fixed!
  4. i have similar GPS issues. GPS location is totally wrong, sometimes for more then 200 km apart from my current location. This triggers the chain reaction with other assist systems ( dynamic road sign recognition, ACC, matrix headlighs, SOS) which then do not work properly. Strange thing which i was also noticing is, that sometimes (not always!!!) while the GPS is out of sync also the GPS location on carplay (google maps, apple maps and waze) are also wrong and shows the same wrong location as the built in sat nav. I have always tought that the GPS signal for carplay is independant (provided by mobiles phone GPS) from GPS signal for built in sat nav. Apparently its not. Than again, sometimes when the built in nav is out of sync the maps on carplay show the correct location. I just cant figure it out. Ofcourse went to the work shop, they've made a diagnostics and the result is that GPS antena is malfunctioning. So i will get a new one once it is on stock (been waiting for 3 weeks now). Hope that resolves my issues.
  5. Has anyone had and succesfully resolved Kessy issue of not working on drivers door? i have a problem with keyless entry only on drivers door. I need to tuch the rear door handle to either unlock or lock the car. This happnes i would say in 80% of cases (except when i take the car to the dealers shop, than it always work perfectly...fckn Murphy lol) When the car was at the garage, diagnostics showed no issues and errors. Also both key bateries are new. This time i made video which is on below link...
  6. haven't tried that yet...will try tomorrow
  7. Ok maybe. For sure apple car play has the same way as the built in phone app. while i had android phone i also disliked the whole android auto connection. But i have to say car play is waaay better optimized and user friendly.
  8. Actually its easy as when you are on a call on the dash screen phone menu is popped out. To hang up you just click once the right scrol. As Simple as it gets.
  9. No, it does not reset any settings at all. Only trip data was reset. On the infotainment sceeen there is a globe icon whic is either grey (offline) or white (online) colour. It could have been some better way to signalize weather you are on/offline as it is hard to tell is it white or grey since its a small icon.
  10. ok, so internet is back online. Took out fuse no. 19 and it works. Travel info got eresed though. I really don't know what triggers it to go offline and stays like that? Also now the internet radio works again. So as i tought, it needs car's internet connection and local hotspot with mobile data from my cell phone.
  11. so my internet is still down since my last post...i didnt bother taking out the fuses, wanted to wait and see it resolve itself...probably i would get old doing so I will take my fuses out today, but what i am noticing (haven't came across this issue yet) is that while internet is down my internet radio is not working too. Since for internet radio to work it needs to connect to mobile data (via mobile hotspot), but apparently it also needs cars internet connection as well... will report once i do the fuses thing
  12. my internet has been down now for 3 days.... latest SW 1806 ...
  13. Ok, so here is my situation Car is built Aug 2020. Had assistance errors popping up since beginning. Also had numerous updates done. Had my SOS unit replaced waaay back in Q1 2021. Despite all these updates being done i still have all the same errors. 90% of these are SOS fault and Travel assist fault. Once in a while park assist also pops up, but it is very rare. I do not have any problems with a/c or screen loading up or similar. Until now i had software 1688, today i got 1806 and hw unit ending G (shift from C). In the first place, the car went in to a garage for those error reasons. Beside these software updates there were some protocols updated as well, but first thing after i turned the car in SOS and travel assist error popped. So the big news now is i was told i will have my stearing wheel replaced (for the record - 3 spike heated sport wheel) Apparently the technical dept. told them this could be the issue for all these errors. So fingers crossed, this will happen soon and that it rrsolves it. Because the car is not fit for driving at the moment. Annoying error sound is popping all the time. On monday i am returning my car until it gets fixed.
  14. can you also specify built date of your car?
  15. it doesnt work for me either,,, SW 1668
  16. There is actually, blue or white icon. There is no indicator for "partially full" (when its on full but dips just a small portion of the beam)
  17. your thinking is correct. Blue icon means they are "operating", but should dip on to incoming traffic or if there is a vehicle infront.
  18. same here...car was updated, but hardware device part no. remains same C as does the SW 1668. Better luck next time
  19. from my experience ACC difference bewteen normal/sport is that ACC reacts way faster to sudden speed changes when accelerating. Don't know whats the light assistance difference though.
  20. I have mine spot booked on next tuesday, will also report... @RRovan which dealer did you book with? I am at spc skerjanec.
  21. yes. i gave a visit to the garage and i was confirmed that this is the case for matrix lights while driving on higher speeds on highways. I guess it is connected to GPS data, when you enter a highway that matrix adjust itself to it. Anyway i will have a reconfiguration of the lights on my next visit.
  22. so video is working (while car's stopped) without any coding?
  23. thanks anyway. It was also belived that older cars (with A,B and C units) cant have units with D and later and SW higher than 1688, but aparently everything is possible fingers crossed ventilation will be also. Will se once i update my car (C unit, built august 2020, 2.0 tdi) on my next visit to the garage on 20th july. will update the thread if nobody does that before i do.
  24. interesting question ....remote ventilation feature would be amazing Could you please check?
  25. yes it is very annoying...one very dangerous situation is when driving on a highway (130 kmh speed limit) and when you reach a part of the road where there used to be a toll station (removed in the recent months/year) the data on the nav still shows speed limit 60 or 40 kmh but in practice there is not speed limit at all just regular 130kmh...very dangerous... also it is picking up speed limits on the exit paths of highway so it can jump from 130 to 40 rather quickly. I find this option very usefull on the regional roads where i am not that much familiar with speed limitations. On highways i usually turn off the speed adjustment.
