  1. I have a 245 VRs challenge edition. It’s a nice car but honestly if I was buying again I would probably poney up the extra cash for an RS4 or an S4 anyway. The skoda is grand but with it being a big car even with a remap it’s a bit pedestrian.
  2. I have a 2018 245 VRS. Been great so far. Love the car.
  3. Likely a faulty thermostat very common on all VAG cars. Bought a TT recently viewed 8 cars before buying one every single one needed the thermostat replaced.
  4. I went from a 2015 diesal VRs to a 2018 245bhp petrol VRS. Have zero regrets the old car was grand but the newer car is great. Not had any issues with mine as yet, had it just over a year now. Took a fair time to find the one I wanted though not that many 245’s around in N.I. My car has the alacantra electric heated seats, the front dif etc. Debating getting rid at the moment for an RS4 but not made my mind up yet.
  5. You will need oem or TRW pads for some reason they are really fussy.
  6. Taking it easy I used to regularly get 60-63 on my old 2015 VRS.
  7. You can get a copy at your dealers or you can just email Skoda U.K and they will send you a copy by email.
  8. Have tried quite a few but always end up going back to meguiars tyre gel
  9. Have always like white personally especially on Jap and German cars.
  10. I like the white. That is what I originally wanted before seeing a Meteor Grey car and preferring that.
  11. A friend of mine had a 230 and it has the standard seats not the power seats. On a VRS anyway I think only the special edition 245 like mine has them as standard with other cars it was an option.
  12. My 245VRS has the power seats with the 3 memory settings.
  13. For my 245 I was told Diff oil, brake fluid are supposedly supposed to be changed every 3 years. Spark plugs every 2 years. Then there is the usual pollen, air filter etc. There is a service schedule that has been posted to many threads on here should be easy to find.
  14. Have seen mentioned before that top mounts can cause this noise.
  15. My dealer charged £100 for mine.
