It's always better with higher and narrower tires in the snow :P Studded tires aren't allowed here, but the winter ones are mandatory from Nov 15th till Mar. @rum4mo good point about the bolt covers, especially if they threat the roads with salt in your region.

Hey @hansen1 those rims are great! I bought some old MK2 alloy rims for the winter, but yours look much better I've just started to think about replacing them with the steel ones as your I moved from the factory 225/50/17 to 215/60/16 for the winter. I'm surprised that you don't drive AWD model in Sweden . Here is a pic of my winter set

Hello Guys, Greetings from Bulgaria! I'm DIY enthusiast currently owning Skoda Octavia MK3 Scout and Audi A4 B7, both diesels. Already done some minor things like LED lights and engine and DSG oil changes on the Skoda and I'm looking for more guides and tips, as well as comments and discussions here. Honestly speaking, I'm not sure why I haven't been registered for so long - I'm reading the forum from several months, at least. It helped me decide what car and configuration I need.
