Why do you need a data plug If you have MyŠKODA app working fine? There is nothing extra in Skoda lite app. In fact my Skoda app is superior to the Skoda lite. I use skoda lite as I don’t have Skoda connect and Skoda remote access features in my package.

I can’t get the passenger mirror to dip upon reverse gear. I have activated the feature using carista. I have made sure the feature is ticked on the console. not sure what am I missing here ? Should the wheels be in motion for the mirror to dip?

I have a Skoda my20 Amundsen system without LTE. I often see the globe icon turn white even when the phone is not connected and there is no WLAN available. Not sure how the data connection establishes with out WLAN?

Hello chaps, I was wondering if any of you have any recommendations for good quality kick pads . My child is special needs and she tends to push her legs into the back of front seats. May be some kind of padded / plastic projectors would be very useful. I tried few from Amazon but they all tend to be very flimsy

Let’s do one thing - go to this link (https://availability.skoda-auto.com/004/en-com#/) and select country and provide your vin number. This will show all the services your car has been provided with. Check if your car has Skoda connect remote access and/ or Skoda connect infotainment only. We will take it on from there.

Smart link is the interface which facilitates android auto when you plug in or wirelessly connect your mobile phone to the system. Additionally , depending on the type of the system your car has been provided with, you would be able to use infotainment and Skoda connect features.

Which phone is that, android or iOS ? CarPlay or android auto should start immediately upon plugging the phone.

After plugging I leave my phone on the top as it’s easily accessible compared to picking it from inside the box.

Found my inner peace with this new set up . The coiled apple cord made my life so easy!

Or may be you could get the blades delivered from Amazon prior to vehicle collection , as Amazon sells them for just under 19£ and Halfords for 30£.
