  1. Hello and welcome to Briskoda. Your car is arguably in the best colour, red.
  2. https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/new-electric-cars-2021 - some absolute lookers in this article here! The one EV I'm quite keen on is the Corsa-e, purely for the reason they've not went and done some sort of outlandish "make it look like something from a 60s sci-fi film" thing with it, just looks like a car as I know it, that's plenty. Anyway, rant over.
  3. 3-5 business days. I don't like all of these odd looking taillights honestly. A particular offender to me is the Toyota C-HR, I sometimes find it difficult to see the turn signals on those due to them being so small. They seem to have fixed that with a facelift but I still think it's a rather ghastly looking thing, no offence to anyone interested in one.
  4. Hello and welcome to Briskoda, and welcome back to the world of Skoda with a new Octavia!
  5. My Granda worked with a guy who rarely used 1st gear. He would change a clutch every 2-3 years.
  6. Mine is from Aldi, I went to order one and my Grampa says "get two" so one for himself too.
  7. I read the bit about that additives and wondered how long it would take before you done a biblical level rising.
  8. Hello and welcome to Briskoda! This place is a wealth of knowledge when things go wrong, so you shouldn't be stuck.
  9. Just as a wee recommendation then, I've got the Aldi branded one of these and I imagine that's just the same thing: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/363357118683?hash=item5499c5a0db:g:5oMAAOSwP6FgdHuc They plug in behind the wee cubby thing besides the steering wheel, you pull it to open it, then pull it once more and you'll see a wee purple plug. Let it run it's diagnostic thingy and it'll come back with codes pointing you towards whatever problem it is, hopefully. My wee one was great for decrypting various Fabia problems. This is it on an LHD car, so RHD is just mirrored. Hope this helps.
  10. Have you tried plugging in an OBD scanner to check for faults? That'll help narrow things down a wee bit.
  11. Please put your Zafira in here, I'd love to see how it unfolds: https://www.briskoda.net/forums/forum/100-non-skoda-projects/ Gutted that the Octy is gone, but you probably made the right call.
  12. Best we got was 12 years with our Fiat Grande Punto which did mostly short journeys.
  13. Hello and welcome to Briskoda! Hope you're enjoying your Yeti.
  14. Ooooh do tell of this magnificent invention. I am intrigued by these so-called "headlamps".
  15. I wish I had heated seats, or even all-round electric windows, but other than that, there's not much else I'd want except for the bragging rights. Anyway, I hope your issue has been sorted with that fix. @prt57
  16. My local Skoda dealer is like that... or more specifically the parts guy is like that. Went in to get door clips, got handed a bit of paper with a P/N and a "good luck pal", second time I went in for headrest guides and I was told "we don't give out part numbers"
  17. Hello and welcome to Briskoda! Hope you are enjoying your Kodiaq.
  18. It's meant to drop below freezing again tonight. That was a sudden shower of hail that woke me up at 3:00 this morning and was still there by the time I took those photographs around 10:30 this morning.
  19. If it's like mine (Ambiente with almost no options) then it won't have it. I've not got a seatbelt or door open thingy either.
  20. Lovely looking Octavia in the blue. I like it!
  21. Just the one rainbow here today
  22. If they're the original (assuming it came with halogens as standard) then your H7 Nightbreakers should fit in fine. However, if the units that came standard are xenon's then you'll need the correct xenon bulbs with their respective fitment.
  23. The amount of penguin waddling required to walk around the car for a photograph whilst wearing trainers was unreal.
