A Fabia with a GT Bumper
Yep. I've read that masterpiece too But that is why Ross gave his such a name however AFAIK.

A Fabia with a GT Bumper
- tech1e, apologies for the confusion. A 2.0 MPI is a 2.0 MPI or 2.0 8v, he named the car 'slayer'. I just assumed it was fairly well known.

Hello, hi, ciao, szia
Hello and welcome to Briskoda, fellow Scot! Stunning looking Octavia!

A Fabia with a GT Bumper
I was pertaining to the 2.0 guise too with this sentence. However, I did make reference to my wishes of owning a PD100 at some point. There may have been a misunderstanding here. Correct.

A Fabia with a GT Bumper
I had pointed out that it wasn't standard. I could fair go either one of the two though, the 2.0 or the bumper... or both.

Greetings - hello!
Hello and welcome to Briskoda! This place is a wealth of information, I'm sure you'll find out quite a bit like I did.

A Fabia with a GT Bumper
Some sort of flashy display model perhaps? I'd kill for a fully specced 1.9 TDI model... not literally
-
A Fabia with a GT Bumper
Yeah I know. I quite fancy it but I'd have to put a pre-FL bumper on mine. Are you sure? I don't think all of them did. Or at least Ross's Slayer didn't have it and neither did the only one I've ever seen.

A Fabia with a GT Bumper
The bumper would go too, it's been keyed and scuffed anyway and is rather sad looking.

A Fabia with a GT Bumper
Yep I know, but who said it was for the one in my profile? Even if it was, surely I could swap the fogs unit, no?

A Fabia with a GT Bumper
Spotted this wee yin today on the Gumtree. Looks to be a PD100 Comfort with a GT bumper fitted. If I wasn't so far away then I'd have bought it for the bumper alone... https://www.gumtree.com/p/skoda/for-sale/1421194126

Fabia projector headlamps best bulbs?
Mobile phone camera does make them look a wee bit yellower, but they're rather white. Here's the Philips +130s in a Mk1 Fabia. I wish I had a before photograph too actually, but I do not. The headlights are a lot brighter (polished the units too) but not too bright to the extent where I'm getting flashed by other folks - that's only happened once when I went over a bump in the road.

SKODA FABIA REAR SEAT RELEASE HANDLE
https://www.lllparts.co.uk/en/catalogs/skoda/CZ/FAB/453/8/885/885070 Part numbers should be: 6Q0885643A (47H if Black) for 14, 1J0885313 for 2, and 21 for 6Q0885785 (47H if black). I don't know if you'd be able to get them individually these days, so finding a seat back or a Fabia for breaking would be your best bet. Hope that helps. Big thanks to @Wino for providing me with the links for this in the first place.6Q60.885643Q6Q0885643Q0885643

Hello from North London
Hello Mike and welcome to Briskoda! Enjoy the Superb, a heated steering wheel sounds great... especially at this time of the year!

Compatible ink cartridges
I don't have the time to refill cartridges sadly, or I'd have done it. Plus, I don't think my Mum would appreciate the mess a ham-fisted oaf like myself would make on the good table trying to achieve such a feat.

Fabia MK3 Whirring Noise
I'll no take responsibility for that lot. Ever been out by Dumfries House near Auchinleck. Yeah, I know that sentence makes no sense to anyone in Scotland just about. Anyway, back on topic... I did think wheel bearing from the noise based on what I could hear, but that's my "mechanic's lug" kicking in probably.

Cars You Don't See For Ages... Then There's Tons of Them
I remember having a discussion with my mate Rab a few months back about never seeing any Volkswagen Polo Dune models. What do I see going through the car park at the train station? Three of the bleedin' things! Okay people, what cars suddenly disappeared when you were out and about and are now magically reappearing on roads near you?
-
Fabia MK3 Whirring Noise
Sorry about that.

Fabia MK3 Whirring Noise
To my untrained ears, it sounds a wee bit like a wheel bearing. I'd need a second opinion, however.

Greetings from a former staunch VW owner in Blyth, Northumberland.
Good evening and a warm welcome to Briskoda. Glad to see you've finally saw the light.

How do from Northern Ireland
They can really change a car! Keeps your sills and stuff good too.

Fabia II Greenline 1.2 TDI - no pull on junctions after near-stops
Sorry George, just my dittery-ness then, I didn't know it had changed either. I left my filter 18 months (was completed in October by previous owner) and the engine was choked to hell. £4.65 later and my car was running good. So was just recommending based on personal experience.

How do from Northern Ireland
Howdy and a warm welcome to Briskoda! I love that colour on just about any Skoda.

What does this switch/button do?
I'll swap you, red for red.

Fault codes
BME is mine. But now, if you ask me what I was meant to get in Spar earlier...
