  1. I don't think the rattling is coming from the actuator for me, there is nothing loose that would rattle by the look of it. It's definitely inside the car
  2. Ok I think I found it, just have to figure out where the vibrations and rattling are coming from inside the car.
  3. I've got an annoying rattle and vibration when the fake engine noise is there. I checked the speakers on the dash, only to find there is only one speaker, speaker no2 as per the diagram is not there. So still don't know where the rattle is coming from, or why I only have 1 speaker there!
  4. I'm looking to replace my front and rear wipers after 2 years (vrs estate), has anyone replaced theirs and got recommendations on which ones to get? Seems Bosch A680S are replacements for the front?
  5. This is the driverline website - https://www.skodaactivate.com/
  6. I got a letter too, ignored it as they're just after money. They also sent me an email about a service due at 2 years, when I've only just had my first oil service with them a few month ago. The car has electronic/variable service schedule and is telling me it's not due for about another 700 days!
  7. I got an OTA update a couple of weeks ago which has fixed this issue for me. Update was 'OAA2'
  8. I read that too, although I don't think that is the case. I think they've taken the 'OAA2' and derived Android Auto from that. Mine said it was updating the Emergency SOS and that the OCU had been updated, I assume OAA refers to 'Over the Air'?
  9. The SOS pop issue happens in the same locations, so I will check that in the next few days, fingers crossed it's fixed.
  10. I've just had an ota update which was called OAA2 and looks to have been an update to the emergency SOS and a couple of other related issues. After the update it said OCU had been updated. I've had the SOS issue since the update to 1896, so hopefully this has fixed it. I drive around 150 miles today and didn't get the issue so looks good. Anyone else had this update?
  11. I've had two clutch replacements, all within the first 9 months of having the car, clutch was slipping, temp warnings and errors. Initially Skoda wouldn't replace the first one under warranty, I was just over 6 months in and around the 6500 miles and I had to pay £1800, however that ended up being caused by a faulty ABS control unit! I did get refunded for that. The second clutch went a few months later, the clutch, flywheel etc replaced under warranty that time and has been fine since, currently on 17k.
  12. If you're more concerned about fuel consumption than enjoying your drive in a cracking performance estate, forget a vRS. Stick it in Eco on longer journeys/commutes (slower but not slow and uses much less fuel) and leave it in Normal or Sport for the weekends when you want a bit of fun.
  13. They're definitely very bright, I've had a few drivers in front putting on their rear fogs or hazards too. No issues at all with the matrix on auto, probably best thing about the car! My car's in for the SOS issue end of the month, I'm going to bring this up and see if there is anything they can do with the headlights.
  14. I've only had the sos issue since my car was updated to 1896, so that alone does not fix the problem. Its booked into the dealer next month so I'll see if they fix it. It seems to happen in the same locations regularly and when it does the car Internet connection drops, the globe on the screen disappears, could be an issue with the sim? It also looks to cause other issues like losing user settings, stuck on loading settings and also the mode and Clima physical buttons not responding.
  15. I've had this issue twice, both related to the clutch. First time it happened was immediately after the clutch had been replaced, I was told it was a faulty ABS control unit which also was the cause of the clutch issues I had been experiencing. I then had it happen again a few months later, the clutch and flywheel ended up getting replaced that time. Not had the full on issue since, although it does get a bit 'sticky' sometimes. I don't know how these issues were related to the clutch exactly, but 3 clutches in all fine!
  16. I've had some 'service campaign' updates ota recently. The Sync issue has sort of been resolved and the Lane assist works better than before too. No details on the updates but that's what I've noticed so far. Hopefully more will come through
  17. I've had ota updates the last few days which has fixed the sync issue, the control is on the right hand side of the display. Although it doesn't remember the setting after the car has been locked unfortunately, would have been nice if that was fixed too.
  18. My ota update took 3 days to finally install unless there's been a couple to install. Should install when the car is locked
  19. Just had an ota update today and I've noticed the Clima sync is now working correctly on the drivers side (rhd)
  20. Me too but no detail... Bug fixes etc
  21. I had a complaint in with VWFS over a clutch issue as well as the software issues. I got told about the fix which was supposed to be out 31st March too as I was set to reject the car but said I'd wait. I'll go back to them and see if I can keep this car while I source a new one too. I've since had another clutch replaced so I've had mechanical and software issues that are not acceptable.
  22. I got my car back yesterday and the clutch, flywheel and hydraulics have been replaced. Hopefully clutch no3 lasts longer than the previous 2.
  23. The garage said it's 'campaign 10h6' and I have paperwork confirming that. Whatever the name you want to call it, it's campaign 10h6 according to Skoda! It only came out yesterday, so whether it would appear on a recall/campaign website yet, I have no idea.
  24. Just got my 1 year old car back from the garage after having the clutch replaced yet again and I was informed there is a recall notice for the engine cover (campaign 10h6). There is a chance the engine cover can come loose and slip down the back of the engine and catch fire apparently, so they are removing them, no replacement or update as to what the fix will be as yet.
