  1. Yes mines DSG. Only had a small drive home, one blip off the line and one on a slip road, but def notice the extra pull. Not gonna help the mpg for a while...
  2. JR, both red are pre, both blue are post. Click the photo, it should go bigger, then you can zoom in. I checked as yes, you cannot read the figures as they are. The lines will cross at 5250rpm if the Y axis where the same scale. Agreed it's not great, but seems correct in my mind.
  3. I've not really booted it that much, lots of traffic around, but off the line I put my foot down in second and the TC kicked in. Was a roller dyno
  4. instead of asking us, please tell.......?
  5. red before, blue after, same vehicle. Stock in red, Racingline in blue. Make sense?
  6. Had it done today, quite good results, pre and post! Been running Tesco 99 for a while.
  7. I've tried to claim before, unless the potholes been reported and they've failed to inspect it within their criteria, you don't stand much chance. But it's always worth a shot! On the other hand I got no where....
  8. Do you have any gasket sealant you can put over it for now?
  9. I'm pre then!
  10. 2017 mk3, not sure exactly when it changed? Is the face lift mk3.5?
  11. Today I did 38.6mpg from Southampton to Yeovil, not taking it easy. On way back, drove carefully and 46.5mpg. If I put it in eco I could have gained a few more, I only had a green score of 87. Petrol / DSG box, Tesco 99.
  12. If you go to TVS for TCU, might as well do ECU, unless you wanna travel around?
  13. Booked Racingline for 2nd June! As they get good feedback and are £400 cheaper!
  14. I either need to send it back @ £20 or get it load tested locally and pay for that. Probably easier to wait a while and buy a new one then send it off. I have a load tester at work, but it's not calibrated with any way of printing a result out, so the company I bought my battery from won't accept it.
  15. Just been looking at when I bought my battery, 3rd aug 2021 I chucked one of these in: E39 Varta Start-Stop Plus 096 AGM Car Battery 12V 70Ah and recoded it. Just gone and sat in car, warmer weather clearly helping. Started @ 12.34v, then as lights went off etc... 12.5v. That a do!
  16. Not sure, thought I was helping it not cycling it too many times.....maybe that's wrong.
  17. Considering my battery is for start/stop, which I always turn off. Even after 2 years of shortish journeys, mixed with some long, I wouldn't expect it to be near end of life.
  18. I'm not overly convinced it was great from new, maybe I should have questioned it. I think it has a 4 year warranty, will have to check, just in case....
  19. 12.2v after a while, I thought it's a bit low, but reading other threads, the car consumes power the second you open it, or after you've stopped. We do quite a few small journeys. Battery is coming up to 2 years old. Never starts slow, but I'm sure I remember seeing 11.9v on crank once.
  20. Ok, just thought as my battery sits quite low, that may have been why. I'll carry on as normal!
  21. I made the mistake of not charging my battery properly, went on the neg terminal. How to I 'reset' it all. Charge unplugged from car and then run an adaption and make out it's new?
  22. Not worried about top figures, any where around 300bhp is fine. What price have you been quoted for Racingline @Doogeand is that including TCU as well?
  23. I still can't decide what to do. £1300 just seems really pricey, I know it's for ECU and TCU and two rolling road tmrun ups, but still.... Racing line seems a bit better priced, but still up there!
  24. Would it be cool.....if I had a VC.....yes!
