  1. Urgh....bought 4 brand new wheels from Skoda and on inspection 3 are damaged! Not from shipping either, boxes all look intact. What's happened to standards these days... There's bits under the paint causing bumps, dents in the diamond cut, dents in the rims, all down to bare ally. Now they are saying 4-7 weeks for replacement, yipee.
  2. Ok, I'll go tyres on first and adjust if required.
  3. In your experience, is it best to sell wheels with or without tyres?
  4. Well when my wheels turn up, I'll measure them! Then we'll know for sure lol.
  5. So all round not worth it then, though annoyingly they are cheaper!
  6. Who has 235s over the standard 225s and is there a lot more rim protection? Wondering if I should put 235s on the rear as they need replacing, then 235s on the front when they are required, or just stick with 225s!?
  7. There's a tuning section, maybe try popping in there. I'm sure I've seen some exhaust threads in there.
  8. I can select footwell separately, as well as doors and all area, then the colours are on the right, in every instance.
  9. Mine blocked a few months ago, gave them a prod with a pin a few times and seems ok now.
  10. I'll take one tomorrow! I'm doubting myself now......lol
  11. Seems odd there's a choice to do it! Lol
  12. Hi all, firstly Happy new year! I have the option to change the colour of the footwell lights in my settings, but they are white only, not sure why I have the option, if I cannot. All the other lights around the door etc.. change. Can these be changed to something that will change colour?
  13. Have you scooped any out to see if it's lumpy or soft? Could be bacteria growth in water? Don't they bleed the ABS unit, are there no bleed points on it? Was the cap done up tight on the reservoir?
  14. Looks like bits in it? Mixed fluids, dot 4 and 5? I've never mixed them, so don't know if they react.
  15. @Doogeare you saying TVS standards are better or worse?
  16. @Esseesse200 which tvs dealer did you use? There's one in Bognor Regis and one in Farnborough, both equal distance from me.
  17. Probably tram lining, what size wheels and tyres do you have?
  18. Have your spark plugs been changed, due at 4years if I remember correctly.
  19. I paid for 1hr access to Erwin online and downloaded the complete build data for my car, along with everything else I could!
  20. Wet gears, dry clutch. No contaminated oil, so no need to change it.
  21. I think the general consensus is to budget for a new clutch, in the next year or so.
  22. My car, uncoded, just continued to charge as though my previous battery was on there. Once coded and it knew it was new, the charging characteristics completely changed. I would certainly make sure you do it right, with the cost of a battery these days.
  23. If you have the problem with only the hard wire kit in, the problem must lie there, as your dash cam isn't connected. Do you have a clean/stable 12v coming out of it, plug end? Can you see any damage on the cable? Can you show a photo of your installation to the fuse box?
  24. I find it hard to believe that there's no battery monitoring if you have start/stop, which means it needs coding. Do you have a module on the terminal of the battery?
