Dealer said that he can't verify at which point of june will the production start. Of course its totally different story, that when will some of start getting their RS's.

Asked my dealer today. Read curtains and washers removal is mainly for lower spec models. Also asked that IF my RS would not be in production, what would be the estimate. He said lucky to have it this year

I've heard some had calls to leave out rear curtains and headlight washers to get their cars faster. Not sure if this affects Style with matrix only. I'm still waiting for june, since dealer said that RS door panels are back in production then. Latest news is that in june, he might have a real date of delivery. Car was on production at february.

I wasn't actually talking bout pricint. Just the idea how much it would take (or how much to disassemble). And perhaps if someone knows tweeters/sub which i could order and swap out myself. But yeah. Best bet to still go to any local shop and ask for pricing.

Nope, there is no indication abut the MHEV system usage. It charges on braking and uses the battery when every it can It might have been an issue with engine wanting a longer run to burn some particles. It requires a longer drive with more rpm's. Great that its solved now! Maybe update the topic?

The battery is about 0.5kWh and is recharged by breaking. Perhaps you dont break enough to charge it? Do you use any driving modes like eco? Try to break more, since it uses the battery to start the engine from coasting and helps on acceleration. Breaking with engine should recharge it also.

You're just teasing your self by asking it every week. Dealer keeps telling you optimistic anwers, as thats what you want to hear. Just prepare for a month delay, when you dealer claims a week. Door panel factory has just been started, and your car is not the only one waiting for them.

So we're on the same page then. Unfortunately my optimism for delivery in next month is gone. Dealer told me earlier that "it should come before summer". Perhaps he knew about the door panel production starting in june. Maybe he doesn't want to concern me. In a sense he's right. Now that i've got information about june, i'm disappointed and not waiting for it. But now knowing that delivery might be on july, it makes me worried about the car being old, since VIN has already been created on february.

Maybe your dealer told you optimistic expectations so you would NOT cancel your order I've got few friends saying me that i should cancel my order, rather than get months old car. But to be honest, i've got little choices. For the price point Octavia gives me lots of good stuff, and mamba green just is awesome. BMW and Mercedes would been an option if budget would stretch for 5 grand maybe. Octavia4 might suffer from cheaper feeling compared to mk3, but thats with every VAG car these days. Same with Golf mk8 and Seat Leon. Also for me the stock cars dont have enough options. Going back to the waiting line would also not be a great option.
