  1. Good point. TSR seems to be sold as an adjunct to LKA. I'd assumed it was just the presence of the front camera that made the difference.
  2. With respect, I think that was the case however ODB11 seem to have been able to renable it now. Certainly the MY22 vRS is showing as being fully supported now which is wasn't a month or so ago.
  3. I've had a look at my MY22 with Matrix LED using ODB11. The referenced settings from a thread on their forums re: enabling TSR don't even appear on my car. A non starter then, at least for now.
  4. I'd hope that at least some Skoda Connectivity capability would be maintained regardless of subscription as it seems things like maps will only update over the air (in the UK at least). It's a real shame we can't use out own data SIMs anymore, but that's progress I guess. If it were a choice between being isolated completely and ponying up the £90 a year... well...
  5. This is what I have fitted. Single camera at the top then a bunch of sensors beneath. Two of the sensors to the right could be cameras, the left side looks to be blanked off.
  6. Thanks Yogi. I can compare with my own now, as mine doesn't have any driving assistance bar ACC which I believe is radar only.
  7. Interesting. I have experience of DCC for Ford rather than VAG, and I was used to Comfort really rounding off speed bumps etc. Still early days but from limited driving so far the Kodiaq comfort feels like that I was expecting for Normal. Maybe incorrect expectations, or maybe a problem of some kind so I'll have to see how it goes. Ford was probably rolling on 18s from memory, so coule be the effect of the 20s I suppose. VPower petrol a must for me too. 👍
  8. Yes confirmed. Ordered August last year.
  9. It's early to tell really, though the engine feels quite tight and stinky because it's so new obviously. I'm doing the running in thing, but a relatively light prod of the accelerator revs straight to 4K even in D so it shows every sign of being a hoot. I was also expecting DCC in Comfort mode to be softer than it appears to be, so the jury is out on that. ...and there's just so much to set up and tweak to my liking, it'll take a while to get it dialled in. I've also been driving a smaller car as a stop gap since I flogged my S-Max last year, and now the Kodiaq feels massive by comparison. Maybe I should have gone for 360 cameras after all. 😉 All in all extremely happy and can't wait to finish getting it run in so I can enjoy the performance too.
  10. Another delivery to report. My VRS ordered mid August has just turned up. I went light on extras so no Canton, lane assist, 360 cameras or blindspot monitoring. Went straight from no build date to left the factory in early December. Looks nice in Brilliant Silver though. Really sorry for all those still waiting. It absolutely ridiculous which order cars are getting built in.
  11. I think the latest update to ODB11 has reenabled the diddle it yourself approach via some VAG newly sanctioned tomfoolery. Seems to be the case if ODB11's website and forum is to be believed. I'd have happily ticked the £50 box for sign recongition, but it wasn't available without at least LKA which (based on previous experience) I wasn't willing to shell for. You know how it is; one whiff of something for nothing... 😊 Can you confirm your bear has only one camera Yogi?
  12. I understand that for e.g. traffic sign recognition to be enabled with VCDS/ODB11 there has to physically be the camera at the windscreen position. On pre-MY22 cars I think that meant having lane keeping assistance as a factory option. Now the MY22 cars all have matrix LED headlights which presumably means having a camera in the same position, is it possible to turn on traffic sign recognition without having to have LKA as a factory option? ...or are they different cameras etc.? Anyone have any idea please?
  13. Was it supposed to be?
  14. Sorry please ignore me; wrong forum!
  15. Which insulation are you referring to here please? I'd assumed it was under bonnet however viewing the Autogefuel video on YouTube it looks as if that's present in the VRS TSI?
  16. I know. I can't believe it's so un-waterproof. It's clearly not intended to be part of the outside of the vehicle. If this is German engineering I doubt the Czech version will be any better. Fingers crossed you finally have it sorted.
  17. I grabbed this screenshot off YouTube showing the inside of a golf5 with the wiper motor removed and just look how scabby the tailgate is. Hardly hermetically sealed!
  18. Car has been sat at Emden port for the last month allegedly. Dealer's assertion that I could have it by the end of December is looking increasingly unlikely. 😉
  19. Also, if it is running down the inside of the tailgate outer skin, any idea how it managed to end up sat on the seal attached to the boot opening (as per your original photos)?
  20. Good show and fingers crossed. Was there any sign of damage or wear to the gaiter at all?
  21. New Karoq appears to have aero wheel covers too (at least in some specs/countries).
  22. I know I'm in a small minority (of possibly one) but the more I see the aero covers the more I like them. 🙄 [fx: runs for cover]
