  1. @DrCorbyLee Thank you for the reply. I will activate it later, most of my driving is high speed twisty's so I will hopefully get a bit more traction. Will let you know. I have Hill Assist on also it makes a huge difference, even getting out of my long steep driveway onto the B road, no rolling back is nifty. Seat belt bongs off, whilst on private land.
  2. Good evening. I have activated a couple of changes on my car, it's an Elegance so has a lot of coding already installed from factory but it does not have XDS activated yet. Might give it a shot. Can anybody recommend it, used it on their car?
  3. Very nice indeed. If you have a CCZA, just check the chain tensioner and PCV at that mileage. I love mine too mate, need to do a lot of overtaking here, it's a breeze with a 2.0 tsi! The Elegance has great little tricks, the left mirror dip is handy, and the memory seats are a blessing. Never used the self parking though. Enjoy.
  4. Any vibration through the steering wheel at higher speeds? If so, could simply be the wheels need balancing, you may have lost a weight on one side due to a pot hole. Worth a look.
  5. Evening. It is a very common issue. Did the same with mine a while ago. Easy to get out and easy fix. Nice to do it yourself mate.
  6. Just to add a little note to my post, the jack point for the rear, is directly next to the axle stand point, which with my trolley jack is never going to happen. And guess what, the filter is inches from both points. Looks like a ramp job only sadly. Could have saved the labour costs, oh well.
  7. Good evening. My 2.0 Tsi fuel filter is due to be changed and looks pretty straight forward, tucked neatly under the chassis, three clipped hoses to disconnect. My question is, do I need to remove the fuel pump relay prior to changing it? Or just not open the drivers door? Online has mixed messages. My local indy has done it previously during a service.
  8. Pab546 is the right man for the info. Helped many people with this very common issue.
  9. Thanks for your advice mate. I put mine in at 25nm. They seemed tight enough, went with the varied online comments and went for it. Engine is as smooth as ever. New coils also.
  10. Good morning. Can anyone tell me the correct torque setting for my 2.0 tsi please? I have new NGK 1675 ( PFR7S8EG) to install today, as its not raining. Conflicting info online. Thank you.
  11. Morning. I sorted it thank you. I piggy backed a start up fuse and it works very well. As its silly season up here, a dash cam is vital. Thanks for asking.
  12. Morning. I purchased it in online from ToolsUsa. Cheaper than VW by a long way!
  13. Here you go. That's the direction it goes in, releases both clips simultaneously in 10 seconds.
  14. Good evening. I have the VW RHD accelerator pedal release tool going spare if anybody needs one. Just message and I will post it to you. It works very well and instant, saves using two small screwdrivers. Happy Easter.
  15. I have not heard of that, there is no chance there is one already in the slot? I hope you get someone on here who knows the solution.
  16. I had to get mine serviced at the dealer as my local indys don't deal with them. They are very tricky to work with. Mine has always been silky smooth thankfully. Good luck mate.
  17. If you have a 6 speed wet clutch is likely to be a DQ250. Mine recently had a service. I hope your code sheet is where mine is.
  18. Hi there. It should be on the code sheet on the first page of your service book. Or in your spare wheel well in your boot. If I remember rightly.
  19. Hi there. I simply put mine in and followed the prompts on the screen. You may need to put a charge on your battery as it takes a while, around 45 minutes if I remember rightly. My Ebay one did not work, a very kind chap on here sent me a link and I had it burnt onto a disc.
  20. That's ridiculous. 4 years old! I am sure that are decent dealers out there, law of averages, sadly I will be driving a long way past my mine next time to a city.
  21. Sadly there are only a couple of decent independents where I live and I do a lot myself. For the DSG I had to use the dealer. Long way to another 40k thankfully, the whole experience was so tedious.
  22. Quick note, the same dealer quoted £195 under 2 years ago.
  23. Mine was £295 last month. Oil and filter DQ250 gear box. Oh, and they half washed the car and left my air hose hanging off.
  24. Agree with @andrehj. Does the window open? It's either a broken wire or crimped. Not the regulator.
