Hi, I've got the original wired CarPlay/Android Auto USB Charger / Connector in the normal place. My phone is on the large side and I'd like to be able to close the cover and not have phone/wires poking out. To do this, I'd like to ideally add an additional compatible port in the storage area under the arm rest. I've had a quick Google and couldn't find anything. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to achieve this please? 2017 pre facelift L&K Superb.

Tx for the reply. I called the Dealer, there's a Full Skoda Service history that seems to have everything done as it should have been. No evidence of any water leaks in the photos or the video walk around they did for me.

Hi, After writing off my 2016 Superb L&K in the snow in January (25mph!) I'm now in the market for a replacement. Came across this one. It's also got a full panoramic sunroof. I wondered if anyone had any thoughts? I reserved it on Auto Trader for the 3 day refundable £99 so I've got a bit of breathing space to research. 2.0 TDI SCR 190 4X4 Laurin & Klement DSG 5dr. Followed the instructions. Didn’t have the pesky clip issue. All went smoothly apart from dropping a screw which I couldn’t find. All good thanks for the instructions and updates. 😊

Also using the BlackVue. Not cheap but very pleased with it. Hooks up to phone easily. They have an Outlet store on eBay where I got a refurbed one from with quite a good chunk off. Hard wired it into the FuseBox.

They do indeed. I waited and got a refurbished one from their UK Agent's eBay Shop. A little over £300 and it's mint. 🙂

Also have a Blackvue 900x Dual Channel. Wires go through the headlining on the passenger side to the rear camera. No DAB problem at all.

Owned my 2016 Superb L&K 190 for 3 weeks now, loving it... Except for a really annoying persistent squeak on the driver's side seemingly behind the dash somewhere. It's worse at lower revs and when the engines under load and dissappears if I back off the accelerator. It seems to be mid height rather than at the top of the dash or lower down at pedal level. Any ideas on what it could be or how to track it down? Putting my ear down in the footwell whilst driving would probably be ideal but I think I'll skip that option! Tx.

There's been an advert pop up in my Facebook feed for an Easter offer for OBDEleven. I've just got a 2016 Superb L&K DSG 190. I've not had time to do a deep dive through all of the settings menus but it seems like the many of options on the OBDEleven module are already available through my car's settings. Aside from clearing fault codes and (I think) the ability to turn the engine start stop off what else is (or isn't) worth it that I don't already have?

Looked at a lot of photos of Skoda's Brown seats last night. Try as I might, I couldn't bring myself to like them. Pity as the car I was looking at ticked all of the other boxes. I realise that this is a personal taste thing and others may love them. The search continues.
