🤣🤣,, I came with a part service history but they was ages ago and the last time it had it changed was with the cam belt in 2015. Guess if you say old coolant could be rusty colour guessing that’s why then 🤣🤣

I’ve done some googling and it says G12 red coolant,, the coolant at the min almost looks like rusty water 🤣🤣

Good morning peeps,, since owning the car a couple of weeks now, I’m going to change the coolant as it look more like an orange than a red colour (guess it’s not been done for a while 🤣). my question is???? is there a plug/valve anywhere to drain the water or is it just pull off the bottom rad hose ??? Fill with water a couple of time to flush it a bit,,, (ain’t got a hose long enough to flush it) then top up with the G12 coolant?? thanks peeps oh is there any do’s or don’t’s 🤣 It’s a 2010 vRS diesel log book says CEG for engine code if that helps

Morning peeps,; I’ve just had a thought 🤣,,, my car has the bolero radio and I was scrolling through the settings and noticed it says activate Bluetooth audio ?? But my iPhone can’t find the radio ?? Is there a module needed as I can’t even add my phone for phone calls?? This is when I thought does this radio require a code should battery fail ?? would I need to go to Skoda for this ??

I will do mate. my motor has started to lock up so I’ve purchased a new one £65 with the adapter, delivery hopefully Monday so weekend I’m hoping to do it. I will be completely removing the manifold hopefully to replace and see if it needs a good clean. Have a new gasket and a long reach T30 plus the spline socket so I’ll either fix it or break it 🤣🤣

Thanks mate,, Did look at them sets but was unsure if any would fit. Looks a big ish spline so I’ve taken pot luck but gone for a big set M10-M18 so hope one of those fits

Morning peeps, would anyone know what size the spline socket is that holds the fuel rail down on top of engine ?? changing the inlet manifold motor thing as mine keeps locking up so need to replace it and add that P2015 stop thing too thanks peeps

I’ve always just used hammerite,, just 2 coats with an artist’s brush but as yours are Brembo I’d powder coat em,, my last 4 cars have always been done in hammerite smooth finish,, focus 1.8 mk2.5 blue —- calliper red Mondeo st mk3 performance blue—-calliper red focus st170 mk1.5 imperial blue—calliper red focus 1.8 mk1.5 panther black— calliper yellow never had any problems with the paint coming off and unless you take it on a track the brakes don’t get super hot and scorch that was the ST170🤣🤣 Oh wheel colour is Audi Daytona Grey on ST150 alloys

I’ve bought the DIY fix,, that aluminium bit that bolts on to stop the lever moving to far forward. cheers mate. Hope this works it’ll save me a couple pounds. I guess if it don’t it’ll be a complete unit

Cheers mate just had a butchers and it looks like I need the plastic manifold type just ordered one but it also looks like I have to remove the manifold as the screws are round the back unlike the metal manifold,,, Grrrrrrr 🤣. Let’s hope this works. do you know what it actually does or doesn’t do to cause the EML?? 🤣,, does it have to do with idling or revs ??? sorry noob here but I’m learning thanks to you

Tried 5 different make of batteries and it still doesn’t flash if you press a button 🤣,,, so kinda thinking it’s toast I read somewhere about pressing button and unlocking car door with key is how to sync it back again,, but I’m not sure if that’s correct mate

Can any used key fob be synced to my car,, if I changed the board internals as this board I think is fubar,, or would I need to go to Skoda for a new fob or a cheap eBay one with a board chip etc thanks peeps

Put in a Panasonic CR2032 and the light still doesn’t flash mate,,, guessing that means the circuit board bit must be bad,,, is it possible to buy the board part and replace it with this faulty one or even a secondhand key and put my blade and chip in that

Ahhh so the lad I bought it from has put the wrong battery in as it had CR2016 not a CR2032. I’ll buy another battery and see if that helps Any particular brand ?? Or will any do mate.
