So far so good, it’s very relaxing to drive compared to the manual Karoq I traded for it and and has more than enough gadgets to keep me amused. I haven’t tried the ACC yet, that’s next on the list to try. I didn’t opt for the powered tailgate on this one but had it on my previous Karoq, the ‘trick’ I found to getting the virtual pedal to work was to do a slowish, deliberate kick under the centre of the rear bumper and then immediately step back. I found if I didn’t step away the boot wouldn’t open which I assume is a safety feature. Have you looked on your digital certificate in the Skoda app? That should list all fitted features so the virtual pedal should be mentioned there.

I was lucky enough to take delivery of this yesterday and so far after putting 110 miles on it already I can say without a shadow of a doubt that it’s a far more comfortable, and more importantly, relaxing drive than my manual Karoq SportLine ever was. Looking forward to a few road trips in it now 😁
  3. According to the latest online brochure it does (UK01/25) but there have been issues with what the brochure says and what you actually get. Would it be a factory order or something in stock?
  4. I’m trading my 23MY Karoq SportLine in on Saturday and picking up a new Scala, I noticed that’s also got the new style badging on the steering wheel.

I agree with @thamestrader the native satnav is truly awful, I’ve always found that a good metric for usability is if you can input an address/postcode without having to refer to any instructions, it’s really not very intuitive. Google Maps/Apple Maps/Waze - take your pick, all infinitely easier and better to use.
  6. Hopefully this is the right place to put this but just to say I used this company this week, ordered this Monday and arrived today. I was a bit wary of ordering as I’m in the UK but all turned out well; some great prices compared to UK equivalents and fast, reasonable delivery cost via FedEx. No affiliation other than a happy customer. https://www.skoda-parts.com/online-store.html
  7. That’s great, thanks for that 👍
  8. Quick question for the Scala drivers; are the windows one-shot up and down? I’m getting one in the next couple of weeks and forgot to ask/check at the time. (It’s a Monte Carlo spec if that makes a difference) Cheers!

Too many variables to give an accurate figure; spec, condition and what you’re trading it against all play a part. Put your reg into one of the online car buying sites, Carwow, Motorway etc. and that’ll give you a figure to play with. I’ve used Motorway once before and it was a seamless, easy process. There are some decent deals at various dealers going on at the moment too, I’ve just taken advantage of 0% APR on a PCP offer.
  10. I’m in a similar position to yourself, SportLine coming up to 2 years old in March that also seems to develop a new rattle or squeak every other week. I’d like to say I’ve enjoyed the car but it’s left me feeling a bit meh in all honesty, not sure what gearbox you have but I have the manual with a 1.5 TSI which I find a truly awful combination. I have however also decided to give Škoda another go but not with another Karoq. Did the oil pump issue cause a total engine failure?
  11. I love this solution 👌🏻
  12. Sunset from a couple of nights ago down in Devon.
  13. A couple from Crosby Beach the other week. And because I’m basically a child…
  14. I still haven’t got around to fitting them and have now decided not to after much deliberation so they’ll be appearing for sale in the classifieds at some point in the near future 👍
  15. As mentioned above there’s no hard and fast timeframe but from my car arriving at Emden to me taking delivery took three weeks. It was a 23 MY Karoq if that makes a difference, ordered November ‘22 and delivered March ‘23 (exactly a year ago yesterday).
  16. I can confirm this has happened to me also, (23 MY 1.5 TSI Manual) it’s not often and not something I can replicate to demonstrate to the dealer which is why I haven’t bothered taking it back, yet… As soon as I start the car I switch off the stop/start function as that drives me mad. It happened yesterday when exited the motorway, came to a gradual stop at the traffic lights on the slip road, clutch depressed before coming to a complete stop but it still fizzled out once stopped. I’ve also found myself (almost subconsciously) giving the throttle a little blip before pulling away from stationary to avoid the kangaroo effect, so it would seem this latest iteration of the engine still suffers from some degree from the well documented kangaroo issue.
  17. My 23 MY SportLine has an umbrella, it’s in a compartment on the front of the passenger seat 🤔
  18. I completely agree, I always found changing the wheels on my Defender or Disco much easier thanks to the hub bolts
  19. I was hoping to never have to use this but an unlit Shropshire country lane had other ideas… On the way home last night and clipped a huge (even by Shropshire Council standards) pothole, instant and rapid deflation followed on an unlit road, luckily I managed to find a bit of a pull-in 50 yards down the road. I’d highly recommend investing a fiver in a wheel alignment pin as there’s not much of a prominence on the hub to get the alloy on to, this was compounded by trying mount the wheel by torchlight at the side of the road.
  20. Welcome I ditched the aero trims on my Karoq SportLine as they looked awful and will damage the lacquer over time, the part number for the centre caps and wheel bolt covers can be found in this thread…👍
  21. Except for certain types of surfaces, concrete motorways being one, I can’t say I notice much cabin noise. I’m running the standard, factory fitted 19” rims with Bridgestone on a ‘23 SportLine. Particularly rough tarmac can sometimes cause a droning sound but it’s usually temporary. Daft question but are the tyre pressures correct? Dealers will often over inflate tyres on cars stood on forecourts etc. Thats not good news, have you been following prices of the Karoq, thought they were holding their own?
  22. That’s what I’ve always done too, I’m planning on getting the wheels off if it ever stops raining so I’m going to go with that, I never had any issues in the past and I regularly check wheel bolt torque anyway.
  23. That’s not good in such a short space of time. Is there anything that can be applied to prevent this? It always used to be copper grease in the past but this doesn’t seem to be recommended any longer.

Lovely day for a drive in a filthy car 😆
  25. Amundsen+ will give you the larger VC but won’t change the size of the central infotainment screen, to get the larger central screen you’d need to go for the Columbus Package which at around £1400 seems ludicrous price differential for an extra inch of screen.
