Volume keeps turning up??
Car went in for an intermittent CEL (which went off the day before the visit), I mentioned the volume and showed the video, they said they’ll look into it, came back to collect car to be told there’s nothing wrong, nothing stored and charged £110 for a diagnostic fee. Fuming

Bodyword, paint warranty
While washing my car I noticed a weird paint finish to the rear offside wheel arch, and wanted to make a note of it during today's unrelated trip to the dealer in case I need to make a bodywork warranty claim. The technician has claimed that the car has had bodywork in the past and hence I cannot make a warranty claim. This came as a massive surprise to me as I purchased the car "used approved" when it was only 6 months old. Allegedly, its previous owner was an employee in the Skoda HQ. I've reached out to Johnsons Skoda where I purchased it but I am yet to hear back from them. Am I screwed? Any hints or advice is greatly appreciated.

Intermittent check engine light, warranty claim and code scanners
Apologies if this is a duplicate, couldn't find anything similar in my search. I've got an intermittent check engine light which was checked out by RRG Skoda today, in true maintenance fashion, the light was off when I dropped off the car. RRG claimed there were no faults stored on the computer and I was subsequently charged £110 for a diagnostic fee. I've also got other electrical issues with the car, one of which is the volume on the radio turning itself down, I have a video of this, despite having proof I have still been charged. My question is, where would Skoda stand on OBDeleven, an officially licensed VAG code scanner, can I use it as proof? Does it interfere with my warranty? I was once warned/threatened by a dealer that this could void my warranty by simply plugging in to read codes. Despite this, I connected and found 2 engine codes as well as other faulted modules, I cannot see any record of them connecting or clearing codes in the history tab. The only note on the invoice is they ran "GFF" - guided fault finding. Any hints or advice is greatly appreciated.

Can't establish 'Primary User'
Hi pikciu Did you try pulling the SOS module fuse out for 10 minutes? If you have, It seems like taking to Skoda was the only thing that fixed it for me, get them to update it and see if the sos module is faulty. see my previous post

Skoda Connect site shutting down email
I think it's being replaced by MySkoda. I used both apps but they both seem to do the same thing

Volume keeps turning up??
Mine has just started doing this today, but it decreases the volume (luckily I suppose). Car is scheduled to go in for other issues on 18th June. Please keep me posted

Check engine light
Hi is there an onboard menu that can tell me what the fault is with the car? My previous Audi gave some basic information but on the Skoda I get nothing but the warm amber glow of the CEL. I can plug in with my OBDeleven, but that isn’t always convenient. thanks

VRS Door Sill Protector - Manufacturing Fault
I had a 21-plate VRS and had this issue. Unfortunately, that car was written off but I've now got a 23-plate... issue no longer present

Opinions on the fully black emblem
I notice you have also replaced the RS badge with a black one. How hard was it?

Thinking of buying a new vRs diesel
You won't regret it, I had a '21 VRS that was written off in November and I bought another one to replace it

Opinions on the fully black emblem
I've just ordered one for my blue VRS Probably won't fit it until the weather is warmer though.

Infotainment Issues - Booked In To Skoda Workshop - Any Advice?
So theyre always cryptic with exactly as to what they've done and I've also slept since then I believe you need the SOS module firmware update as well as the 1941 software update, if that doesn't take then they need to replace it, but that usually requires authorsiation from skoda.

Infotainment Issues - Booked In To Skoda Workshop - Any Advice?
read the last one or two pages of this thread: Make sure that they also update the module firmware as the 1941 on it's own only made my POP POP worse... I think the dealers are aware of the issues and there is TPI in place

VRS Spoiler advice after damage
So I must've had some money burning a hole in my pocket as I've had an altercation with an aircon unit mounted too low over a hotel parking bay 😠 Only quote so far is £325 for the boot and £200 for the spoiler respray... Which brings me to the tought of replacing the spoiler entirely as it is cheaper: I can, reluctantly, get a chinesium VRS spoiler from eBay for about £55 or I'm leaning towards buying the maxton design spoiler for £134. My questions are the following; has anyone removed/replaced the stock spoiler and is it difficult? And, are there any options other than the maxton design for an aftermarket spoiler that I should consider? EDIT: the car is a hatch/liftback

Pop pop,SOS
Had the car back for a week, so far so good on the connection loss, no joy on: Sometimes the car thinks it's undertaking in 2nd and 3rd lane - thinks it's a left hand drive Clima sync - thinks it's a left hand drive car

Travel assist retrofit
It sounds like you’re describing lane assist rather than steering assist. I’ve got the former as part of travel assist and it can barely keep up with a gentle motorway curve

Travel assist retrofit
Hi all, thanks for your posts. It’s on the to do list for later. I’m currently holding off from doing any coding as my car is going into the dealer in October on warranty work for a lot of software/firmware updates (hopefully) I wouldn’t want them to chuck a fit if they see any history of coding and or it all being erased if they do run any updates.

Travel assist retrofit
Like Mattian, my vehicle has the travel assist button that does nothing, I would like to try to code the adpative lane guidance. Any chance of putting all the coding neccasary into one post so I don't miss anything out? 😅 Thank you.

Boot randomly opens and closes
perhaps the virtual pedal is damaged and shorting. How far away is the key from the boot?

Pop pop,SOS
Forgot to mention I use an iPhone 12 pro, don't know if thats relevant. I have a lot of software issues with the vehicle: POP POP - SOS call failed, as described Satnav, as described Sometimes the car thinks it's undertaking in 2nd and 3rd lane - thinks it's a left hand drive car Random front assist error Clima sync - thinks it's a left hand drive car Randomly switches to guest profile while driving, then can get stuck on loading while switching back. Not sure if matrix lights are dazzling oncoming vehicles as I haven't had much oportunity using them since getting the car in May, but from the above list I probably do 😅

Pop pop,SOS
I've had the car in for the 1941 update due to no internet connectivity. Since then I have internet but I also have a lot more POP POPs and "SOS module error, visit workshop". It wouldn't connect back up for a good few hours of the car being off and locked. In added annoyance it would seriously mess with the satnav / apple carplay while it was in fault; it would keep adjusting my location and re-calculating the route while thinking i was on parallel roads. I've been putting off going into the dealer as I mainly do short distance drives so it didn't effect me more than it annoyed me. Yesterday I was on the way to the lake district from Manchester and within 20 miles the module crashed and the satnav went crazy once more, not ideal on a 90 mile drive! Here's what I found intersting and wanted to share: I disconnected wireless carplay and mashed the SOS button a couple times out of frustration, within a couple of minutes it connected back up and the warning went away from the dash. This has never happend while the car was still on. I continued the journey with the phone connected via USB rather than wireless and other than a few POP POPs it re-connected everytime. On the way back home it faulted fully with the dash error and everything, but i pressed the SOS button twice and it reconnected. My conclusion is that the wireless carplay is some how effecting the SOS module. The car is booked in to Skoda Rochdale on 11th Oct for diagnostics as well as a bunch of other software issues.

Heated windscreen?
Looks like I don't have that option in the Clima menu. Wierd, didn't realise you could option the heated steering wheel on its own. Thanks for your help
