No it works just as well in 1st lol. Go out there now and introduce the pedal to the carpet, it'll reward you with a nice noise and stronger neck muscles:p

Yeah I've noticed this since the first time I drove the RS. Pretty annoying. You need to use 1st alot more, but hey it'll do 80 in second:drive:

Paint 'em red:D The calipers on my micra have been done in bright red hammerite, looks great.

I always use spray on wheel cleaner anyway, various brands. Autoglym extara gloss protection might be a good thing to try, thanks:)

How do you guys keep the calipers nice and green? Ours have a few chips and don't clean up to a nice deep green anymore:( Do Skoda do a paint for them? I'm told green hammerite is a good match, seen someone who painted their nissan that colour after seeing an RS.

1) rolls too much 2) bounces too much on broken surfaces 3) floats when driving quicky over dips/crests Can see where your coming from on 2 and 3 but not 1. Never been in a car that rolls less:cool: Matter of opinion though.

Saw the report and noticed the Fabia:cool: Any system like this is dangerous, for resons such as that already said. It will be a very long time (hopefully) for these things to become compulsory. More likely is an optional scheme, so only careful drivers would go for it anyway. Drivers who totally ignore limits like doing 60 in a 30 should be tracked down but say doing 35 and getting done for that is a joke. Also 70mph limit on motorways is a joke, at least on quiet ones, should be changable limits according to conditions. For the government and the cops, "Speeding" is just a cash cow and insist on brainwashing us into thinking we are criminals if we do 71mph on a empty road. Maybe they should put more effort into tracking down those without license/insurance etc and those who tailgate, but maybe that would involve a bit of work:mad:

The estate looks cool, haven't seen one on the road yet. Our 51 RS has 16 inch rims, with steelie in the boot:eek:

We use 95 RON almost all the time and there more than enough bhp there:drive: Didn't really notice any difference on super.
