  1. Just watched them at uni.(network says speed is 100Mbps) Fantastic vids :drive1:
  2. Doh I need broadband lol:( Anyone got any smaller vids
  3. Your test was only over 18 miles which is not much, especially as only 5 of which were on the M-way. 35mpg sounds alright as to get ot over 40 takes a good few miles on the motorway in my expereince. Rob is right about the instantaneous value and the throttle being very sensitive. Watch it when going up gradients on the motorway too, makes more of a difference than you'd think:drive1:
  4. Very nice, I always think the Galant looks good. Nice alloys you have. Maybe get some clear or smoked side repeaters instead of the orange ones.
  5. 2 don't know if the current one is the dodgy one still or the improved version:confused:
  6. I thought that, bit :dung: really. Modified RS would eat it I reckon
  7. Not bad, shame all the MG's have the "driven through Halfords covered in superglue" approach to styling:p Is the 190 a good match for the vRS performance wise:confused:
  8. Put a pair of Philips blue vision in my micra yesterday after reading the reviews here. They really are very good. Powerbulbs.com are great like others have said, ordered 11.30am friday, arrived 09.00 saturday:cool: Now to get dad to buy some for the RS:D
  9. :p LOL good replys thanks chaps:cheers:
  10. Bit random but does anyone know what the top speed in third is on the RS. Had it up to 100 on a flat track, came up shocking quicky. Also had it on the limiter in third at 90, but that was up a hill. ( I have hills on my track too;) )
  11. Various overated, overpriced german automobiles, loads of small fry like astras, focus's or is that foci. MR2 just recently, these must have a bit of poke? Also a new beetle that kind of put up a fight.:drive1:
  12. We had a nasty rattle from the back for sometime. Eventually I lost patience and had a fidle. Pulled off the plastic tailgate liner, the bit where the closing strap hangs, thinking I'd wrecked it but got it back on and hey presto, no rattle:cool:
  13. 6) Anyone know where you can get realistic, or even REAL "Tracker" stickers as a deterrent? Try abgraphics.co.uk. I think they do tracker stickers. 8) How careful should I be, exactly, near Rutted tracks, speedbumps and high curbs. VERY:eek: Lockable wheel nuts, someone was critiscising the VAG ones on here, any tips for additional locking nuts? prices? suppliers? reviews? Halfords do them, don't know how good they are? All the best with the new beast:cheers:
  14. Thats well nice is that, drool:cool:
  15. Looks fine, keep it. Had a chrome oval trim on my micra for over 3 years no corrosion probs.
  16. Hatch, as already said the boot is big enough anyway:) Obviously in silver too.
  17. :happybday have a nice day:cheers:
  18. Our RS has done ~26K on the original tyres and still look fine. I obviously don't drive it hard enough:drive1:
  19. Yeah use some hammerite. I did the calipers on my micra in red, one year ago and they are still fine. Also did the drums in silver, fine also. Just clean and wipe with some white spirit or similar before painting. I've seen the green hammerite done on other cars after people have seen the vRS and wanted to copy, its a good match.
  20. The Jag V8 engines and auto boxes are just the sweetest out:cool: We had an XJ6 3.2 straight six and then an XJ8 3.2 V8, the power and refinement was noticably better on the 8. Also been in the 4.0 but not the new 4.2, the XJR 4.2 supercharged is just mental. Servicing costs are high, but you'd expect that. Also not the most economincal, but no worse than other engines of that size I suppose. Not that keen on the S type styling, but better than the x type, which is just a glorified mondeo. Don't think much of the new XJ, too Merc/BMW ish.
  21. Yep PC world in Highgate, best to go in a large group with a few men with AK47's as well, bit rough around there. If they were out of stock next PC world is at Selly Oak, just past Bham Uni.
  22. Hi and welcome:cheers: I don't think the RS looses too much of its value. Our dealer recently had a Y reg in and was going for over
