Sounds about right. I was quoted £435 for my Mk3 L&K drivers side mirror glass! The mirror housing remained unmarked, although I had to clip it back together after a crow hit it, as I was travelling at 60 mph. I phoned horton's in Lincoln straight afterwards from a nearby layby, thinking it would be £30-40 max. The spares guy asked me if I was sitting down before giving me the good news. Needless to say I let my insurance take the strain, as the mirror cover had swing backwards and scratched the window glass and trim.

This was a great site for VRS owner discussions and projects. A lot of those contributors seem to have moved on, or like me bought other Skodas, apart from a GTI 245 PP, which left me underwhelmed. I think the earlier marks were brilliant value for money, solidly built and not too common.

Doh! my set of A864S does fit! A dab of washing up liquid on the guides and it slipped in. Not sure why they were so tight on this car when they fitted easily on my last Karoq. 🤔

@RCC49 thank you, unfortunately, I already have a set of A864S, which fitted my 2023 Karoq, they definitely don't fit my Edition. I have ordered A639S and will see if they fit.

I had a pair of Bosch wipers for my 2023 Karoq. They don't fit my 2025 mode. Had anybody bought some for a 2024 Edition model and if so, what is the reference no. please

Check the rear washer works, if not perhaps the rear washer feed pipe has fallen off. If not, do you use it regularly for decent length trips? My wife's Sirion suffers from water gathering in the spare tyre well every winter, due to condensation, caused I think by a lack of regular use & very short trips of 1 mile each way to the shops. In the summer it's bone dry.

@croquemonsieur @pinkpanther I have a Nextbase camera set up which shows 30, 50 and 60 with Speedo readings of 32, 47, 56. My Nextbase camera doesn't affect DAB reception. You can greatly improve bass, treble sounds by streaming Spotify through Bluetooth,( rather than Android) in media settings and volume in audio settings to loud.

The courier who collected my car stated that about 30-40% of deals don't progress as they aren't as described. One seller had 2 identical cars and had taken pictures of the good one with the scratched & dented one's number plate on. Then on colllection day, had switched the plates back so the would-be buyer was to receive the poor condition one. The courier pointed it out. Seller vehemently denied it. Courier then sent the standard on-site video to the buyer, who refused to proceed.

I recommend Motorway, initial offer was £1700 more than WEBAC. Sold the next day. A courier picked it up 3 days later, inspected it, contacted the dealer, who paid before my car left the drive. The key is to be very honest about any scratches, faults, etc.

On flat roads it will change to 7th gear at around 50 in D. It feels like it's mapped to hold on to gears depending on throttle position and gradient. Paddles will change up but not If it the car senses it's not going fast enough. 2 cylinder ACT notification pops up occasionally. 50+mpg on long trips is fairly easy to attain with a mix of motorway & A roads

They are relatively quiet and comfortable, even on 19" wheels Tyre road noise is not bad. The ride is helped with DCC in comfort mode. My sister recently asked if my 1.5 DSG was electric whilst cruising at 65-70 on the Honiton bypass. Mind you she has been known to bounce her BMW 328 soft top off the rev limiter so perhaps she's simply hard of hearing..
