I think alot of the MK4 1.8T's where only 150, certainly the earlier ones. MK5's are definatley still above the 10K mark.

CHAVs and the vRS - Time to move on?

They should be banned. Why would you possibly pay to make your car look worse! -
The sun is shinning, perfect time for some car shots

Only one thing for it, all you MK I buyers need to sell up and get a MKII :P. It wont be long before you see MK2's, enjoy while it lasts! -
Probably the sensor, mine did that on my ibiza cupra was very annoying. Get a new sensor off ebay. Should do the trick!

I suppose it was only a matter of tme before they became too affordable. However it probably won't be long before its writen off! -
As above really had mine over a year and changed from an Ibiza Cupra for more space. Really pleased with it. Make sure it has had cambelt and water pump changed and service history etc. Wouldn't let mileage put you off have seen them at work go over 160k and still pull really strongly and run well. Water in the boot is annoying and also the mats sem to fray around the VRS logo after a while. Good Luck, you wont regret it.

Slightly off topic but your car looks very nice in the picture!

Is the Megs stuff v.acidic? I have the usual black tar in the corners by the spokes and cant seem to shift them with anything. Have used wonder wheels before but as said above found it to be v. aggressive and sore on my eyes!

Thanks for the help all. Need to do something my bonnet looks like its been washed with rocks! Think it might be costly though! I was reading a website that says they measure the depth of your paint before deciding whether it can be treated. Is there any risk involved with this kind of treatment?

Out of interest did you try and return them?

Car looks amazing has inspired me to try and sort mine out! Never knew such great results could be achieved, you must be very pleased. Like the wheels really suit the car.

Have been looking at the black octy in the below thread and cant believe the difference it has made. All the swirls seem to have gone! I would imagine it to be quite expensive though? I also have a rather nasty stain from the previous owner which looks like it could be bird mess that he obviously couldn't be bothered to wash off! http://briskoda.net/forums/styling-car-care/full-detail-paint-correction/109433/

Hi have a 04 Black magic VRS. Have had it for a while now and after looking at cars on here I am becoming more and more annoyed with swirl marks and imperfections in the paint. I am very interested in having the car detailed professionally and paint resored etc and wondered if anyone knows of anyone in the Kent area that is any good? Any recommendatons greatly appreciated.
