I had the same problem with the same door, but in my case I also had a squeak somewhere in that part of the car. So,I bought one WD-40 and I used it on the lock of the door. After a couple of days the squeak dissapeared and the door was closing like it was supposed to.

@ Phish - if it does multiple back-forward moves it means that you have the second generation. The first generation only allowed you to move backwards, then engage the first gear and it was over.

Imo I think this is an option for your own comfort.Driving my car everyday for many hours I ended up knowing it's dimensions very good.Maybe it sounds stupid but everytime I park my car better than this Park Assist, and when I use it,usually I take the control at the end of the parking maneuver because I don't like the gaps etc. Despite all of these,I preffer to use it at night when I come back home and I'm tired. At that time I'm way too tired to search for parkng spots.I really thing it's just a comfort thing like heated seats, seats with cooling, front parking sensors etc. On-Topic.I guess you have the last version because it was introduced in september-november last year or something close. And if not, there are 2 ways to update it:replace the module or software update(not VCDS). I also have a question.Does the system consider the cars parked on the other side of the road? Many times I had to park the car on the right side and one time the front of the car went no more than 2-3 cm from the cars parked on the left side.I wonder if it was a coincidence or the parking system really took that distance in consideration.

Superb II hidden climatronic menu

As long as you can manually change the numbers for each channel I'm sure it's not an autocheck. -
Superb II hidden climatronic menu
infoschumi replied to infoschumi's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
It should look like this one on . -
Does anyone know any information about this menu? It can be accessed by pushing the AC button and the windshield defrost(not the one with MAX,the one next to it) at the same time. The menu is displayed on the Bolero/Columbus and those 2 buttons will flash. From what I saw you can select the channel by turning the driver temperature button, and you can modify the settings for each channel by pushing ventilation(fan speed) + or ventilation(fan speed) -

Faulty Rear Parking Sensor
infoschumi replied to Pandybelly's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
If it's not a fault of the sensor or of the wiring loom, then it's the control unit.If changing the control unit won't solve this problem maybe the replacement sensor was also faulty or maybe it's really hard to do a proper wire insulation. -
This night I did a 250 km(~155 miles) trip. After cruising at around 120km/h(~75 miles/s) I did a refill and I was astonished when I saw on the trip computer 1280km or 1260km I can't remember, the photo is in my phone(~800miles) until empty tank.On this trip I had 4.6 L/100km(~61.4mpg).In this case the record wasn't the consumption,it was the km number until empty. As for the consumption record,I had 3.8 L/100km(~74.3mpg) after a 100km trip while driving at a constant 90-100km/h.Also,at constant 80km/h in the 5th gear I have around 3.2-3.3(85-88mpg),but this isn't relevant on a public road because the engine is a little bit under-revved,and I can't overtake any car without a huge instant increase in consumption that turns the average consumption up to 3.5-3.6(after a single overtake).Maybe average consumption would be around 3.4-3.5,I never tested on purpose the car for a consumption record. It might seem impossible, but I would like to add that the engine is not stock,it has a little powerbox that helps the engine reach 211bhp and 410nm(dyno tested).I would also like to add a little info.I got a remote on/off powerbox. When doing 165km/h(6th gear,3000rpm),I have 6.6 with the box on and when I turn it off the consumption suddently goes around 8.8.If there is someone that really really thinks I lie,let me know what photos or videos you would like me to make. Also for the city driving,I am pretty dissapointed with the consumption.I drive on small distances, sometimes even 2 km,it's a crowded city.I get around 10 L/100km,and sometimes even 15-16L/100km(in case if I drive on 1-2km distances which takes around 15 minutes to reach the destination).

Are Tourist Light and Travel Mode the Same Thing?
infoschumi replied to busta999's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
False.I tried the option and I saw the left beam getting up and the right beam getting down(left handed car in my case),so it really works. On the right handed cars it works the opposite, the right one goes up and the left one goes down. -

That's the one(Travel Mode).I tried it a few months ago. -
Congratulations for the Superb! You won't be disappointed.I have one question, why do you have to wait until 3rd October if it's a showroom car?

Watch out, this may bring a lot of problems to you. Here in Romania, many of us had German style registration plates, until the cops decided to apply the law and many got their driver licence suspended, some even went to jail.I'm not sure about the rules in India but here you just can't change the plate. Not back to your question.Just visit any shop where they print pictures on T-shirts or where they print text on pencils etc.

Dealer Programming / Menu Options
infoschumi replied to Departed's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
I had this menu, but about a few weeks ago it just vanished :thumbdwn: Anyone knows a way to make it appear again?I did a DTC on the Cent Elect and there I found an error regarding the footwell lightning,I cleared the error,it never appeared again but still no menu :rotz: I forgot, these lights work even with that error, and even with the menu gone. -
