Seems good now.

Cheers for the tips, I rang the garage to see if there's any products they'd recommend. He said to flush out with hot water. I removed the cover for the tow hitch and also the cover under the wheelarch so I could pop out the pump connection to the bottle, so I could flush it easier. He thinks he may be due to over use of windscreen fluid and the length of time its in it due to lack of use.

Opening the Lid of the washer bottle and there's a savage smell out of it, like rotten eggs. I don't fancy emptying bleach onto my screen so and other tips on what to put in or how to fill/empty it best.
-
Would the issue only be apparent when recirc on? I happened to have the AC on today (Auto button on....Recirc NOT ON) and there was no smell. Are you suggesting it may be blocked and causing the issue? Would it be leaking when recirc pressed?
-
@ Tom - These can be got on Vagdrivers.net.

That was savage, the length of it. Some of them made me laugh seeing them again.

Last week all of a sudden I started getting a really bad smell after using my window washers. It smells like Cat Pi$$. I emptied the bottle by continually spraying. I topped it up a little and let empty again. Then |I filled up we new water and washer fluid, but I can still get the hint of the smell. Any idea why this has started happening, is it something to do with really hot weather?

A bike thats wanting to throw him off on the same corner in both morning practice & qualifying. Hewas lucky to stay on If Lorenzo sorts out T4 there'll be no stopping him. Rossi seems to have a few tweeks in mind to make up some time. Fair play to Dani for getting in behind Rossi for his quickest time. Should be a good race tomorrow.

There's always one :P;)

Cheers for that, I didn't really do to much homework as a girl at a course I done last week had mentioned the shop, and bought the same flash from it without any trouble, so I thought it was worth the risk. I hope I'm not proved wrong :(

Savage bit of racing. As Lorenzo said Rossi was braver (nuts) today. What about 3 laps to go down to the first corner, Rossi pulled in the leg while retaking after Lorenzo's pass. Fair play to Lorenzo for a faultless ride, thats the 3 boys all level in the championship..........should be an excellent season. Btw Casey was in bits after the race, must have a really bad dose of something, all credit to him for getting to the finish in 3rd when like that. ROLL ON ASSEN............................DON'T FORGET ITS A SATURDAY RACE.

Recommended 225/40 18" tyres for 07 vRS
GAFF replied to Flanno's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Flanno, have you ever set the TPM? It takes a few PSI to trigger. Maybe try really over inflating, press and hold the TPM button, then let the air out and try driving around. I always wondering that if after pressing the TPM does the wheel need to have revolved to gather the necessary info in order for this system to work. I know after my wheels were changed one day I drove approx 2 miles before the thing sounded. Regarding tyres I have the Falken 452, very quiet, cheap but if you really pushed them they wouldn't give confidence in the damp. A friend with a 3 series and who knows a few M3 owners highly rate Kumho KU31's, I'm tempted to try these next. My opinion on F1's are they are very noisey, expecially if overinflated for a period.....my sounded like a damaged wheel bearing. Also the wear ain't great and they are not the cheapest in the world. -
Maybe a way it's set up, I never found that when the light has been on mine for low fluid.
-
Yep, here you can anyway. The prices are listed seperately for both on the extras list.

Now there's a blast from the past.....hey Huck, hows things.
