  1. I had the same, it was due to a set of over inflated Eagle F1's.....the centre had worn due to over inflation, iirc about 35psi.
  2. Those Escorts are mint. Ya need a picture with the Mexico & Skoda....all white
  3. The big issue now is that you have no confidence in it working right.......I wouldn't.
  4. I ain't finding the Falkens too good. Can't find a good pressure, when its cold increasing pressure feels good, but when warm they are skitish and needs pressure reduced.
  5. Is there something where depending on the type of light that a certain number of car starts without the issue causing a problem will reset the light.
  6. A friend is having the exact same problem after the same pipe disconnecting. The reason this particular pipe disconnected is because when it popped at the Wiper before the dealer fixed it in a way that it would NEVER come off, so hence it popped at the next weakest spot. IIRC the garage are replacing the Control Module on the wheelarch. What a STUPID place to have a connection point about an electronic control module. Have you had any pipe disconnect before?
  7. Will it even with 1-2 coats of Hamerite after cleaning with Wonder Wheels?
  8. I don't want to rub it too much with Sand paper if the paint is that light (there's a nice finish on the metal as is). A good going over with wonder wheels might get rid of the bulk of the rust.
  9. Is there any prep work required for best results prior to painting, in terms of rust removal? Mine are starting to look really bad so I need to do this. Is the Smooth Silver hammerite a good match & what size tin would I need? Does it take long to dry and how many coats need to be put on?
  10. Looking good. Cool pics. Btw I edited them for you so the image appears rather than a link to photo. Fyi use the insert Image option, its one of the little buttons above the box where the message is written. If you hover your mouse above them you'll see the right one .
  11. Does anyone know if the facelifted Ocy has a different rear bumper to the original MkII. The reason I say is the quick look In had gives the impression its a closer match to the Octy vRS rear bumper, so are there a different type of rear mudflap available for the facelifted Octy? (Maybe be a tighter fit than the original ones )
  12. Oops, I didn't realise it was for a Civic, but glad it was of help
  13. I doubt it's as easy as that, lets face it both Casey & Valentino were both at well beyond there comfortable levels. At 100% those guys hard hard to keep with. With the level they were at that day nobody had a chance.....just think about it, Casey fell off, got back onand there was STILL a gap to 3rd......SAVAGE. On the other had just think of Phillip Island, there was a great show put on by a number of riders.
  14. Personally I think that even with Rossi & Stoner being 1 - 2, it still doesn't make it any less interesting. Btw have you got yourself into the brisky fantasy league?
  15. From Limerick Vw Show 2009 - VAGdrivers.net Limerick VW show 2009 NEW DATE & VENUE When ? Sunday May 24th ( Weekend BEFORE June Bank Holiday weekend ) Where ? Fitzgerald's Woodlands House Hotel Knockanes Adare Co. Limerick Take N21 road from Limerick & turn left off roundabout as you approach the picturesque village of Adare. What ? Hundreds of VWs ,both air & watercooled & other VAG cars If you get tired of looking at all those VWs.... it could happen...! there are loads of other classic cars on display too....... The change from the bank holiday weekend might be bad news for those regulars who have made the annual pilgrimage to Limerick since ' 92....they might now have to do normal bank holiday family stuff.......! but good news for those enthusiasts who couldnt make the show BECAUSE of the bank holiday w/end.....they can now see what they were missing......or not ! Thanks to all who have supported this show over the years......hopefully the sun will shine like in 2008 !
  16. If you use a Harness cable, What I did do (which was recommended by a car installer) was to install the Pink cable (with crimp pin) into one of the free holes in the Adaptor Cable (I can't recall exactly which one now but I can verify that), splice it and join the Yellow mute cable (shown with the Male Butt Splice). BTW I think the only reason behind the Mute leads is to get Mute to come up on the radio IIRC, so technically you don't need it connected as the Parrot internally mutes. Also the pink cable in mine popped into a empty slot in one of the connectors but I can't recall which one. Just found pics I had from when I contacted Parrot, maybe they will help. Please bear in mind that mine was a Stream unit so your Mute may be at a different location.
  17. No, it was in getting serviced only a few days prior to the Cruise not working. The garage checked the codes for me, there was errors but they were Speaker errors, I'm thinking it maybe something to do with Parrot as it's been giving some issues lately, but Nothing showed in relation to the cruise.
  18. Make sure your own is well locked up, as it's has effectively NO Insurance
  19. Had a look at one of the lads cars the other day. The hose to Wiper in bootlid was okay, the one at left wheelarch was okay so thought it maybe the Washer Bottle. Absolute pain in **** to get out, disconnected both Front and Rear lines to pump and when activated was getting water out of both. Turned out to be the bloody washer nozzle, if ya lift the cover on the rear arm, the nozzle pops off, its worth checking it before going at anything else
  20. Just posted on other thread that no faults flagged on mine. It only happened on the one occassion so a little confused now that something didn't show.
  21. Had mine checked the other day and No faults showed on it, would they disappear after a while.....I'm confused now as it definitely wasn't working.
  22. Just seeing who might be interested in attending this ? Home
  23. It really is a case of keep it going till end of warranty and then to hell with it after that. It's the same response I got before, and tbh is a bit of a joke as the problem clearly wasn't sorted.
