For all of you that do self service, have any of you cut a hole in the under tray, so that you can change the oil without removing it, to remove the sump plug for oil changes.

Can you still get smart link to show u tube , have tried but for some reason no longer works using u tube tutorial

Just need a cut out so the oil can be changed without removing the cover

Ebay, or go to a scrap yard, I have a full kit sitting in my shed , the kit can also come from a mark2 Octavia it will be 16 inch with jack and tools.

I have noticed some mark 3 2013 on octavias, have projector lense headlights, what model would have the the s , se or the sel I think theres also a sport.

Would the leather seats from amk2 fit a 2016 , looking for a set , preferably without any of the electric gubbins

If you of get it get LED front fog lights to match the headlights, they are to yellow

I found out by accident, that selecting sports mode, uses oil, so I left mine in normal mode and have never toped up between 10 k services

Been running cross climates for the last 3 years simply the best and getting around 45 k on the fronts before being replaced the backs are getting around 60K

Normally around 45 mpg , but had been sitting idling for half an hour, so the total drops, best was 62 mpg on an airport run to Edinburgh

Apart from servicing every 10K , the car has cost £29 for a sensor, that took 3 mins to change, it would have been free if i had gone up to Edinburgh to the dealer and waisted 1.5 gallons of fuel and waited 4 hours, original break pads where changed at 50K they might need changing next week when it goes in to my local tyre centre, where they have an ex VW mechanic who started on his own after the dealer closed, it passed its taxi test last month with no advisories, got shot of the original OME tyres as soon as I bought it,at 8 k., and fitted cross climates, so here is to another 100k

Do you get a warning from the daylight bulbs ,and can you post a link to yours

What ones though , most throw a bulb out warning
