Common Problems -Check the ESP, an 06/40k example is ripe for failure, plenty of threads on this. (A big repair bill, get it under warranty) -Water in the spare wheel well, popped off washer pipe, again plenty of threads. -Seat airbag wiring loom, can be either side, dodgy connection causes fault. I believe some have had problems with uneven tyre wear and sawtoothing, cant say Ive had that.

My sugar frosted Octy this morning, almost considered possibly perhaps getting the shovel out maybe And that's the worst we've had so far. We seem to be getting hardly any. :wonder: Have been seeing gritters though, got a nice broadsided blast from one the other day :S

Any pics of vRS on MTM Bimoto wheels?
Rhoobarb replied to mark_eire's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
I always smile at how good I think mine looks at certain angles on the stock ride height. I agree that pictures of standard make it look a bit wrong :S. BTW. The PS alloys were pasted on the zeniths rim edge to edge, so it would either be 18" or 17" depending on what Harry had originally. -

Didnt edit the ride height, that was as the original pic :wonder: Just superimposed the alloys onto the zeniths, anyway... A quick and nasty botch job for the 'Moar Lowar' crew I could have spent more time on it, but it would have still looked like a botch job -

Until you find a 'proper' pic, just a quick copy and paste job, but might give you an idea -
Evaluation of a Scout for Met Police
Rhoobarb replied to London Les's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Perhaps the display of information regarding performance could be exploited by criminals, I would think top speed and acceleration would greatly affect response times, thus making a bit less of guesswork into timing of a 'big hit'. Maybe having the specs of a loaded car would influence a potential getaway car, its only got to be slightly faster acceleration and top end to make it redundant as a pursuit or response vehicle. Or it just could be the fact it has driver names and signatures on. All guesswork of course, its not like they are going to publish why its restricted. Interesting reading though. -
Does it throw out as much light? I always find that LED's are blinding to look at, but don't actually give off as much light as a standard bulb.

anyone been playing need for speed hot pursuit?
Rhoobarb replied to jamesrbeaumont's topic in The Technology Shed
I dont play online at all, but the game is very good. Brings back the memories of the original Hot Pursuit and the first 2 NFS's. -
How crazy the world we live in. True or not, the fact that this is 'news' and that people are giving this woman any serious attention beggars belief. Woman claims ownership of the sun I just don't get these people, its got to be an attention thing. :wonder: Not news, just entertainment trash.

The closest to 'Pop' would be Gary Jules - Mad World, New Order - True Faith or anything by Depeche Mode. More of a Rave man myself

In mine its a small cubby, but you can retro fit the cup holder. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/49888-rear-passenger-cupholder/page__st__20 a good guide by Uncle B, not 100% sure if this would work on FL models though

Not mine, another member on here, but I am tempted to this as well. Your welcome
