  1. All depends on the circumstances. How long ago your previous was, conditions, etc.
  2. Its yours, glad someone will get some use of it. You have PM Anyone would think you want a go Bryan
  3. Try a font called sulphur http://fabia-joy.wz.cz/font/sulphur.ttf
  4. I thought that anthracite would look really nice on a black car, but when Brimma did his, it did make them look like they just hadnt been cleaned. I still like the idea though and may go for it, perhaps anthracite 18s would look better than 17s.
  5. Sorry to hear this, glad the main thing that you and your family are OK, try to take comfort in that. No words can describe the frustration and anger at these situations. Feel for you. Will keep an eye out
  6. Black or Anthracite on White car Anthracite on Yellow car Anthracite on Blue car Black or Anthracite on Red car Black on Black car Black on Silver car Just my opinion though.
  7. I think my garage had a lot to do with that, they understood my concerns about a new one just being a ticking bomb. The warranty seemed quite happy for the recon, not only the 2 year warranty, but also the costs. Perhaps they are seeing a lot of this and will bend to save the wallet. The only issue they wouldnt pay for was carriage of the unit and some of the labour costs. (Bit cheap considering Im sving them money) So Im looking at £50 excess, plus carriage and part of 2 hour labour costs. Still works out a hell of a lot cheaper. Dont jinx me yet though, they still have to pay out yet. :p
  8. Im sure theres an 05 VRS by me, could have been ex-demo though
  9. I dont think there are any failure percentages yet, the cars that have this problem are only recently failing (seems to be around the 3-5 year mark), I would say you would have to wait a couple more years to see if any survive to get any figures. From the amount of people suffering this problem I would say its prudent to be prepared for the worst and be pleasantly surprised than hope for the best and be disappointed. I took a warranty cover out after reading the issue on here, 1 week later it went. I consider myself very lucky the information was on here. All the garages I phoned round though said they were seeing a lot of this problem, in VW's mainly. Funnily enough the only ones who didnt know anything about it were the Skoda dealer themselves, funny that. My other issue with this is has the fault been fixed yet? There is so much stonewalling and hush hush, noone seems to know. So mine went in for the recon rather than replacement. (2 year warranty - recon, 1 year warranty - new) Other than that, brilliant cars
  10. On older cars it was an option but I cant remember if it was standard kit for the VRS, Im pretty sure its standard now, but not sure about older ones.
  11. Starship Troopers, Visually very similar to Robocop with the News Cuts, Adverts, etc. Both excellent films. Was so happy when Criterion released the unrated robocop.
  12. If your worried, try to go for one that doesnt have ESP, I think it was an option not standard on the VRS. The Octy is still a great car, fantastic value for money and without ESP you have the peace of mind it wont have the MK60 problem as its a different ABS module. I could be wrong about the option/standard though, if anyone could verify?
  13. Wirral, North West Not really necessary to go to other forums, etc. Was just seeing if any Brisky members were interested before it went on Freecycle or to the tip. Im not sure if its a professional one or just 'for fun', I dont even know its origins but it seems sturdy enough though. Ill get some pics up. EDIT: Pics Added
  14. Facebook link or or Option 3 Some more help. Facebook are not renowned for replying so I would contact Virgin and get your passwords changed with them. If FB doesnt do anything about it, just log in to it and try the first option again. They dont make it easy for you thats for sure
  15. Roll Up, Roll Up!! Red Unicycle with BMX style mag wheel, not spokes, including stand. Price: FREE!!! (get your coat quick!) before it goes to the tip.. This was donated to us a while back, since we have no real desire to break limbs I never really bothered to do anything with it and it has since sat in the shed. The tyre is flat, all it needs (I would think) is a new inner tube and a good clean. Could be hours of fun or a new choice of career for the right person. Pickup only Im afraid, the Octy is poorly in the garage till next week by the looks. Form an orderly queue Clown shoes are NOT included. Im expecting this to be a very quiet thread EDIT: Please keep in mind I will be held in no way responsible for any injuries or damages caused by, or involving, this unicycle. Just to keep that nice and clear  MIGHT be able to bring to the Dec NW meet at the Stretton Fox.
  16. Perhaps it was an old or current acquaintance that knew enough details or may have had access to your pc at some point, remember you can access virgin emails online from a non-virgin internet connection and probably mark them as unread too. I would speak to virgin and get the primary email password changed, and any other passwords to do with Virgin. Then email facebook to permanantly remove the account and any associated details as you did not set it up and suspect your details have been compromised. Also, make sure you have all spyware/virus scanners up to date and do a full scan for any keyloggers or trojans, etc. Unlikely, but you never know.
  17. The company who did OP's wheels. refurb and paint £200 (normally £256), buy now book in for January. Its a christmas deal available up to christmas. Click on OFFER PAGE
  18. I'm all for freedom of speech, fight for rights, bending the rules, etc. But this is just ridiculous, I'm wondering how many children will be 'affected' by certain characters getting hold of this book and learning the 'tricks of the trade'? Shameful. I too am surprised this is even legal. I see some advocates have taken the 'dont moan unless you have read it' stance. Why would you want to read it?? Even those who just want to see what the fuss is about it cant make easy reading without churning your stomach. Some have quoted free excerpts, they are enough to know that its just sick. Part of the sick world we live in, these things become more and more acceptable.
  19. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/256666/auto_expresss_stop_the_service_secrets_campaign.html Some topical reading and might help some, in particular read the comments at the bottom regarding the VW golf with the ESP fault
  20. I think the black looks better on white cars, anthracite on blue and yellow. I actually like the decals though
  21. Anything sci-fi/horror/fantasy/fiction-ey type thing really, Ive read the novelization of the alien movies so many times most of it has now disintegrated. Anything by King, Koontz, Pratchet, Chricton, Ludlum, Barker, Herbert, etc will do me.
  22. I know I want to Just spoke to them, its a pay now, book in for January deal thing. Its running up to Christmas. Ill see if I can persuade SWMBO on ANOTHER Christmas pressie, along with the pressure washer I just t lol. Got to have nice wheels to clean, right? OT, but still waiting on pics of the new look stealth machine Bryan
  23. Ooh they're offering a deal for £200, maybe time to get the zeniths repaired and in black
  24. This is the reason mine is being reconditioned as opposed to new. Not worth taking the risk and costs just to reset the timer IMO
