First a scrappage scheme, now an Electric Car Subsidy
Dragonrider replied to anewman's topic in General Automotive Chat
If you burn HC fuel you always get water and CO2. If as suggested earlier you synthesise the CO2 with Hydrogen to produce the fuel to match existing tech you waste even more energy, so why not use plain old hydrogen and a fuel cell as demonstrated by the new Honda. -
This is just another excuse to put taxes up so that some "community groups" can have more useless meetings. The moment they open one of these places the Elf n safety brigade will be in there demanding improvements and all the other quango's will want their twopenny worth out of the kitty as well. Who will end up paying for it? You and Me!!!!!

Completed. Hope this survey helps with the site.

Of course you're a lesbian, and just like other lesbians you look at women all the time. You think about women all the time, and you think about having sex with women all the time. Nice isn't it.

simms suzuki, the worst maindealer on the planet?
Dragonrider replied to oilburninnut's topic in General Automotive Chat
Criminal workmanship!! Glad that suzuki stepped up to sort him out though. -
He was 'held' for 4-5 hours and fingerprinted, DNA the works. They say (the police that is) that the records will not be removed. HE WAS'NT EVEN CHARGED AFTER ALL THIS!

This one is a beauty. It restores your faith in our Police forces.

That is so true. I was up around Loch Lochy last week and heading north to Applecross and could not keep up the postal van that had just delivered to my hotel!!

Thanks for all your suggestions, i'm back now but it won't be too long before i go again. Covered loads of ground this time. Oban, Plockton, Kyle of lochalsh, the westor ross coastal trail, Applecross (again!), Shieldaig. Along with a couple of peaty-coloured water makers. Can't remember all the other places at the moment, the water level is slowly going down now that i'm not driving.

thanks for that. i must admit i love the place. favourite hotel is just beyond spean bridge and i always salute the three guys on the hill every time i pass them.

Right stocktaking is finished. I'm now on holiday:thumbup: Trouble is I'm running out of Dalwhinnie so it's off to Scotland and a mate is coming too so instead of walking around the mountains when i get there as usual i need some other places to visit. Any suggestions are welcome. I will be based around Fort William.

It's about time we started to call this murder, not "causing death".

Blurry muppet! Says he only had a few beers! Right! Sets off around midnight! More than a few if you ask me! He has not even passed his test! So what's he doing driving alone? Could have been another train disaster here! All he gets is a 20 month ban!!!!!!! This is bad from the solicitor, the driving ban "will be a punishment for him". Given his current contempt for the rules it's likely he will ignore the ban as well!!!!!!!

Well done buddy. now you will have to upgrade your signs to show the fact.

Superb response. Up yours you ****.

i dont think they will let the banks and other bid companies fail. they need them for the 'Directors' positions they offer when they get kicked out!

Anyone tried FIAT Mulitjet 1.6 120? What's it like?
Dragonrider replied to Matt Bodycombe's topic in General Automotive Chat
i tried the 2 litre one when it came out at around the same time as the furby 2. very stylish inside and very quick on the test drive. also very comfortable. much more expensive than the furby but the only problem at the time was delivery. promised mid september then told me on september 1 that it would be mid november. wasn't pleased. still it seemed a good motor at the time. -

Another vote for the Panasonic. I had the earlier version FZ18 when it came out, it's been ideal for all situations.
