If you burn HC fuel you always get water and CO2. If as suggested earlier you synthesise the CO2 with Hydrogen to produce the fuel to match existing tech you waste even more energy, so why not use plain old hydrogen and a fuel cell as demonstrated by the new Honda.

i tried the 2 litre one when it came out at around the same time as the furby 2. very stylish inside and very quick on the test drive. also very comfortable. much more expensive than the furby but the only problem at the time was delivery. promised mid september then told me on september 1 that it would be mid november. wasn't pleased. still it seemed a good motor at the time.
