Not all Suburbs have the A5 camera fitted. It all depends on the trim level or way the car was specced from the factory.

Depends if you have the A5 camera fitted (I know the SE L didn’t used have it as std fit) I would imagine you will also need different hardware fitting for PCC

You will need the A5 camera recalibrated after a new screen is fitted, this can only be done by your dealer, it should be covered under the windscreen insurance offered by your insurance company.

HEX-V2 or HEX-NET genuine VCDS with the latest software. Hooky cables and the old HEX+CAN interface won’t work, neither will 'eBay HEX-V2’ which is a hacked HEX+CAN inside a V2 look alike housing.

Škoda usually put a join in the N/S/R of the car, the nozzle blocks (non fan jet approved fluid will do this) and the pipe pops off.

No you need a genuine interface and valid subscription to be able to download the file, the files are also encrypted to the interface that downloaded it.

Feel free to add your own upgraded bulbs for the S3 (ideally with links and photo’s showing before and after) Front Fog lights H8 35W (OE are Osram) I upgraded mine to 4,500K ( K = Kelvin colour temperature, OE Xenon’s headlights are between 4,300K - 4,500K) 4,500K halogen on left OE std halogen on right: A much better colour and very close to the DRL’s, however they were pretty crap with regards to the light they emitted and were barely noticeable when they were turned on. CREE on the left and a 4,500K halogen on the right: THE OE FOG LIGHT BULBS ARE THE IDEAL COLOUR FOR USE IN THE FOG, IF YOU DECIDE TO GO WHITER LIKE I HAVE THEN YOU WILL LOSE THE PERFORMANCE IN THE FOG - as they are now used as CH/LH and cornering lights this is something I was prepared to sacrifice.

Cars built from 2015 are now starting to use some controllers that the HEX-CAN / Micro-CAN interfaces cannot read, for these you will need the latest HEX-V2 or HEX-NET interface. THIS THREAD IS NOT A “CAN ANYBODY IN **** HELP” THREAD For those of you needing some help from a VCDS owner and are not too hot on geography, I have compiled a VCDS Owners Map with owners rough location, so it should be easier to find someone local to you. RED markers are Moderators / Admin PINK Honoury, GREEN Freedom members, PURPLE are Briskoda sponsors BLUE markers are std Briskoda members. Most of the members in RED PINK & GREEN will tend to be more frequent users of the forum and VCDS, however there are also some std BLUE members who are a dab hand with VCDS, As a sponsor the PURPLE markers are likely to have a fixed price scheme for coding and scans. It is always a good idea to look at the owners profile to see if they are still active on here before sending them a PM (Personal Message), if they have not visited the forum for several months then it is unlikely they will read your PM. However there are also a couple of Freedom members who have not visited Briskoda for several months, this is why it is important to see when they were last online. As you can see the above owner will unlikely reply to you since he has not logged onto Briskoda for nearly 20 months.
